The moir&eacute; adjustment circuit generates a horizontal position signal having a first frequency proportional to the horizontal scanning frequency and a position value substantially proportional to the moir&eacute; adjustment signal and the horizontal scanning frequency. A horizontal position control circuit, coupled to the moir&eacute; adjustment circuit, generates a horizontal reference signal having a second frequency substantially equal to the horizontal scanning frequency and a reference phase that is shifted from a synchronization phase of the horizontal synchronization signal substantially in proportion to the horizontal position signal. A horizontal driver circuit, coupled to the horizontal position control circuit, generates a flyback pulse having a third frequency substantially equal to the horizontal scanning frequency and a flyback phase that is substantially equal to the reference phase. The flyback phase controls a horizontal position of lines on the display to correct the moir&eacute; effect.

Method and apparatus for providing moir&eacute; effect correction on a multi-scan display monitor

The present invention is a method and apparatus for selecting a capacitor value corresponding to a horizontal frequency in a video monitor. The technique determines the horizontal frequency and creates a limit on a default capacitor value which is obtained from the determined horizontal frequency. An updated value is compared with the limit to generate a comparison result. The capacitor value between the default capacitor value and the updated value is selected based on the comparison result.

Correction of corrupted data in capacitor switching control to maintain

In a display monitor, a horizontal synchronization signal having a horizontal scanning frequency is received by a first circuit. A vertical synchronization signal having a vertical scanning frequency is received by a second circuit. A moire correction signal that is proportional to a horizontal resolution of the displayed image is generated by dividing the horizontal scanning frequency by the vertical scanning frequency.
