A radiation imaging system comprising a radiation imaging apparatus in which pixels are arranged, a radiation source, a display unit, and a controller is provided. The controller causes, during radiation irradiation, the radiation imaging apparatus to repeat a generation operation of generating one image data by causing the pixels to perform an accumulating operation and a readout operation. When it is instructed to terminate the radiation irradiation, the controller causes the radiation source to stop the radiation irradiation in accordance with completion of the accumulating operation and the readout operation of the last row in the generation operation during which it was instructed to terminate the radiation irradiation, and causes the display unit to display an image based on last image data generated by the generation operation during which it was instructed to terminate the radiation irradiation.

Radiation imaging system

An imaging control unit in a radiation imaging apparatus causes imaging in a plurality of modes varying in a setting value, and causes standby driving to reduce signals stored in a plurality of pixels during a period in which the plurality of pixels is not irradiated with radiation. The plurality of modes includes a first mode for first imaging using a first setting value and a second mode for second imaging using a second setting value different from the first setting value after the first imaging. The imaging control unit causes the standby driving using a setting value closer to the second setting value than to the first setting value in response to end of the first imaging in causing the second imaging.

A radiation imaging apparatus comprising an imaging region where conversion elements used for an imaging operation of obtaining a radiation image corresponding to incident radiation are arranged, detecting portions in each of which a detecting element used to detect a radiation dose entering the imaging region is arranged, and a controller is provided. The controller is configured to perform, before the imaging operation, an offset readout operation of reading out offset signals of the detecting elements from the detecting portions, detect, in the imaging operation, the radiation dose entering the imaging region by using signals output from the detecting elements during irradiation with radiation and the offset signals, and be capable of changing, during a period of the offset readout operation, an order of reading out the offset signals from the detecting portions.

A control apparatus of a radiation imaging apparatus configured to generate a plurality of radiation images to transmit to an external apparatus is provided. The control apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire a generation cycle of the plurality of radiation images, a partial readout time required for the radiation imaging apparatus to read out a region of interest in one radiation image of the plurality of radiation images, and a transmission time estimated to be required to transmit the one radiation image. The control apparatus also includes a determination unit configured to determine, based on the generation cycle, the partial readout time, and the transmission time, a time at which the radiation imaging apparatus starts transmission of the plurality of radiation images.

A radiation imaging apparatus comprising: an imaging unit configured to capture a radiation image; a generation unit configured to generate each of thinned images of a plurality of radiation images captured by the imaging unit; and a transfer unit configured to wirelessly transfer a plurality of thinned images, wherein the transfer unit transfers each of remaining untransferred images obtained by excluding the thinned images from the radiation images after completion of the transfer of the plurality of thinned images.

A radiation imaging apparatus that forms a part of a radiation imaging system is provided. The apparatus includes a sensor unit having a conversion element configured to convert radiation into charges and a switch element configured to transfer the charges. The apparatus further includes a control unit configured to control the sensor unit so as to perform one of a plurality of operations. The plurality of operations includes an imaging waiting operation of repetitively switching ON/OFF the switch element, and a standby operation of controlling so as to make a change amount of voltage for controlling the switch element smaller than that of the imaging waiting operation. The control unit executes the standby operation based on a predetermined signal from outside.

A radiation imaging apparatus includes a reset control unit configured to perform reset scanning to sequentially discharge charges accumulated in pixels; an irradiation detection unit configured to detect a start of radiation irradiation based on charges discharged by the reset scanning; an imaging control unit configured to perform control to stop the reset scanning in accordance with detection of the start of irradiation and obtain an image signal by reading out charges accumulated in the pixels; a generation unit configured to generate image data based on the image signal except for an image signal from a pixel on which the reset scanning is performed during the radiation irradiation; and an output unit configured to output the image data to an external apparatus.
