A multi-layer viewing system includes a stationary imager and a beam projector to project physical layer markings onto a region of an object. A headset includes an augmented reality display that is sufficiently transparent to enable a user who is wearing the headset to directly view the object through the display, and to display annotation that is superimposed on the object. A processor is configured to receive a selected location relative to the target for display of the annotation, determine an orientation of the augmented reality display by identifying images of markings in acquired images or markings on the object, calculate a display location for displaying the annotation on the augmented reality display such that the annotation is perceivable by the user as displayed at the selected position, and display the annotation at the calculated display location.

Augmented reality display system and method

A micro-perimeter technique using a portable computer and a projector, and using two screening methods, multi-resolution static and bi-directional kinetic. The static method, as applied to a static test, starts with relatively low-resolutions, and only the unseen zones are selectively remapped under higher resolutions during successive iterations. The bi-directional kinetic method, as applied to a kinetic test, uses a response to a continuously moving target, and the unknown response delay is compensated for by an algorithm that merges the patient's response to measurements at the same visual location, but with opposite scanning directions. Offline visualization of the mapping results is performed automatically superimposed over the fundus image.

Method and apparatus for efficient high-resolution visual field mapping

A testing bed for use in testing printed circuit boards and the like includes a light-transmissive supporting member, a plurality of spaced strips of light-transmissive, electrically-conductive material on one face of the supporting member, and a plurality of probe elements overlying and in contact with the strips. Each of the probe elements includes an outer electrically-conductive contact point for contact with a pad of the article to be tested. A photoconductive material between the probe elements and the strip forms a photoconductive gate.
