Techniques are described for a social networking system to provide collective accounts that allow for multiple holders, editors, and/or managers. In some cases, the social networking system may be configured to distribute content associated with the collective accounts based on metrics and relationships associated with accounts of the contributors to the collective account as well as the collective account itself.

Collective user accounts

This disclosure covers systems and methods that both transmit a live video stream from a broadcaster device to viewer devices and relay video clips of reactions (by viewers to the live video stream) to the broadcaster device during presentation of the live video stream. In certain embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods facilitate viewers capturing video clips of reactions to a live video stream using a viewer device and, in turn, transmit video clips received from the viewer device to a broadcaster device during broadcast of the live video stream. For instance, in some embodiments, the systems and methods present the video clips of a viewer's reaction to the broadcaster device during a live-video-stream broadcast. Additionally, in some embodiments, the systems and methods present video clips of other viewers' reactions to a viewer device during a live-video-stream broadcast.

Techniques are described for a social networking system to enable multiple users to collaboratively create, publish, receive attribution, and/or edit content. In some cases, the social networking system may be configured to distribute the collaborative content and feedback associated therewith based on metrics and relationships between collaborators of the collaborative content and users of the social networking system.

Collaborative posts

Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can determine that a broadcaster of a first live content stream has identified at least one user of a social networking system to join as co-broadcaster. A merged live content stream is published through the social networking system, the merged live content stream including the first live content stream of the broadcaster and a second live content stream associated with the at least one identified user. At least one notification is sent to one or more other users of the social networking system. The notification informs the one or more other users about the merged live content stream.

Systems and methods for shared broadcasting

Techniques are described that enable a user to create a collection of content posts on a social networking system. In some cases, a social networking system receives multiple content posts to be shared, and shares the multiple content posts with a first group of user accounts. The social networking system receives a request to create a collection of one or more content posts of the multiple content posts, where the request includes a descriptor associated with the collection. The social networking system generates the collection of the one or more content posts including the descriptor, and provides the collection to a second group of user accounts.

Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can determine that broadcasting of a live content stream has concluded. The concluded live content stream is converted to a post live media content item. The post live media content item corresponding to the concluded live content stream is published through the social networking system. The post live media content item remains accessible through the social networking system for a pre-determined period of time.

Systems and methods for surfacing content

The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for enabling better control over a live video broadcast. For example, systems and methods described herein enable a broadcaster to indicate one or more highlighted portions of a live video broadcast. Systems and method described herein further provide a video broadcast viewer the ability to scrub through the video broadcast directly to the highlighted portions of the live video broadcast.

The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for providing a start trigger for a live video broadcast. In particular, in some embodiments the systems and methods described herein provide a live video stream received from a broadcaster client device to one or more viewer client devices. Additionally, the systems and methods described herein determine whether an audience satisfies a triggering event to provide the video stream to an audience of viewers. The systems and methods provide content for a wait screen in response to determining that the audience does not satisfy the triggering event, and provide the video stream in a live broadcast in response to determining that the audience does satisfy the triggering event.
