A nonlinear optical crystal of guanidinium tetrafluoroborate has a chemical formula of [C(NH)]BFand a molecular weight of 146.89, belongs to the trigonal crystal system, has a space group of R3m; has lattice parameters of a=7.4634(10)Å, b=7.4634(10)Å, c=9.1216(19) (6)Å, and Z=3; has an ultraviolet cutoff edge of 200 nm; and has a frequency-multiplication response that is 4-5 times that of the commercialized nonlinear optical crystal KDP. A hydrothermal method, a room-temperature solution method, an evaporation method or a solvothermal method is used to grow the crystal in a centimeter-scaled size. The crystal can produce frequency-doubling, frequency-tripling, frequency-quadrupling, frequency-quintupling or frequency-sextupling harmonic light output from the fundamental frequency light of 1064 nm generated by a Nd:YAG laser, and/or can produce ultraviolet and deep-ultraviolet frequency-multiplication light output below 200 nm.

Nonlinear optical crystal of guanidinium tetrafluoroborate, preparation method and use thereof

A nonlinear optical crystal of barium cesium borate, a preparation method and use thereof are provided. The nonlinear optical crystal has a chemical formula of CsBaBOand a molecular weight of 983.84. The nonlinear optical crystal belongs to an orthorhombic crystal system; a space group of the nonlinear optical crystal is Cmc2; lattice parameters of the nonlinear optical crystal are a=19.011(7) Å, b=10.837(4) Å, c=8.578(3) Å, Z=4, V=1767.4(11) Å; and a Mohs hardness of the nonlinear optical crystal is 4-5. The nonlinear optical crystal is grown by a flux method. The nonlinear optical crystal of the barium cesium borate obtained is used for a manufacture of non-linear optical devices. The nonlinear optical crystal has a large size of centimeter-scale at least and is prepared by fast, simple and low-cost operations. The nonlinear optical crystal prepared has a large size, a wide light transmission band and good mechanical properties.

The present invention relates to a cesium borosilicate compound, a nonlinear optical crystal of cesium borosilicate, and a preparation method therefor and a use thereof. The cesium borosilicate compound has a chemical formula of CsBSiOand a molecular weight of 481.15, and is prepared using a solid phase method. The crystal is widely applied to manufacturing of nonlinear optical devices such as frequency doubling generators, frequency up-converters, frequency down-converters or optical parametric oscillators.
