It is provided an encryption hybrid model SI simulation method based on an ADS and an HSPICE. The method includes: extracting step response data of a TX end chip encryption model by using HSPICE transient simulation; externally generating a random code signal; and taking the extracted step response data and the random code signal as input sources of ADS channel simulation, to realize active simulation to the encryption hybrid model.

Encryption hybrid model SI simulation method based on ADS and HSPICE

A signal integrity simulation method for an encryption hybrid model is provided. A step response data of a SPICE model is extracted through a transient simulation. An external random code signal is generated. The extracted step response data is imported as an input source for an ADS channel simulator. An eye diagram at a RX end is calculated by the ADS channel simulator based on an algorithm and the external random code signal, to perform measurement on the eye diagram. With the signal integrity simulation method for an encryption hybrid model such as an IBIS AMI model, the problem that signal integration simulation cannot be accurately performed or cannot be performed because models provided by the manufacturer are encrypted or the types of models provided by the manufacturer are not consistent can be effectively solved.

Signal integrity simulation method for encryption hybrid model

A method for simulating signal integrity of a hybrid model is provided, which includes: establishing a transient simulation link including a front-end chip model, a pre-link model and a terminating impedance model, where the front-end chip model is a Spice model; inputting an ideal step signal to a port reserved in the front-end chip model, and extracting step response data in a steady state; inputting the step response data to an input end of a channel simulation link, where the channel simulation link includes a relay chip model, a post-link model and a back-end chip model, and each of the relay chip model and the back-end chip model is an IBIS AMI model; and inputting a random code signal to the input end of the channel simulation link, and reading a signal outputted from an output end of the back-end chip and forming an eye pattern.
