A wireless access control system is provided to lock or unlock a first door at a dwelling of a user. A user remote access device accepts input based on haptic feedback or motion. The user remote access device includes a vibration mode provides an alert to the user of the remote access device. The user remote access device is configured to be in communication with an intelligent door lock system at the dwelling with the first door. The intelligent door lock system includes: a drive shaft, a circuit coupled to an engine configured to cause a rotation of the drive shaft, and an energy source coupled to the drive shaft. In response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion the bolt is caused to move and the first lock is locked or unlocked.

Wireless access control system and methods for intelligent door lock system

A wireless access control system is provided to lock or unlock a first door at a dwelling of a user. A user remote access device accepts input based on haptic feedback or motion. The user remote access device includes a vibration mode provides an alert to the user of the remote access device. The user remote access device is configured to be in communication with an intelligent door lock system at the dwelling with the first door. The intelligent door lock system includes: a drive shaft, a circuit coupled to an engine configured to cause a rotation of the drive shaft, and an energy source coupled to the drive shaft. In response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion the bolt is caused to move and the first lock is locked or unlocked. The intelligent door lock system is configured to allow controlled access to the dwelling that includes an occupant of the dwelling as well as a designated third person granted access rights by the occupant. The user remote access device is in communication with a second lock at a vehicle of the user or at an office of the user. In response to the user remote access device accepting input based on haptic feedback or motion the second lock is locked or unlocked. The remote access device has a controller for using haptic motion to lock or unlock locks.

An intelligent door lock system is in communication with the bridge and the one or more Bluetooth devices. The bridge uses detection of a Bluetooth device that is associated with a person to track signal strength between the bridge and the Bluetooth device to determine where the person is at the exterior of the dwelling.

A Bluetooth/WiFi bridge system has one or more bridges in a dwelling. Each bridge includes a computing device in an interior of a dwelling with an internet-facing radio, and a second radio communicating with one or more Bluetooth LE devices. The computing device provides for coordination of information flow between the two radios. The computing device is configured to enable the two radios to communicate and take incoming and outgoing information from one radio into a format that the other radio can transmit and receive. One or more Bluetooth devices or Bluetooth peripheral devices, collectively, Bluetooth devices, are in communication with the bridge. An intelligent door lock system is in communication with the bridge and the one or more Bluetooth devices. The bridge uses detection of a Bluetooth device that is associated with a person to track signal strength between the bridge and the Bluetooth device to determine where the person is located in the interior of the dwelling.

Audio is used to communicate a security key to the wireless communication device and the RF increases a wireless communication range to and from the wireless communication device. A circuit is coupled to the engine and to an energy source. A device converts energy into mechanical energy and is coupled to the circuit, positioning sensing device and the drive shaft. The device that converts energy is coupled to the energy source to receive energy from the energy source.

A device converts energy into mechanical energy and is coupled to the drive shaft. The positioning sensing device, the circuit, the position sensing device and the device that converts energy operate to rotate the drive shaft to lock and unlock the lock device.

A method is provided for using an intelligent door lock system at a door. The intelligent door lock system is supplied to an individual. The intelligent door lock system includes, a position sensing device, an engine, a circuit coupled to the engine, an energy source coupled to the circuit and a device that converts energy into mechanical energy. The position sensing device of the intelligent door lock system is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device, and the position sensing device is coupled to the circuit. Energy is supplied from the energy source to the device that converts energy into mechanical energy. The device that converts energy into mechanical energy rotates the drive shaft sufficiently to unlock or lock a lock of the lock device.

An intelligent door lock system is provided with a position sensing device configured to be coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device. An engine is provided with a memory coupled to the positioning sensing device. A circuit is coupled to the engine and an energy source is coupled to the circuit. A device converts energy into mechanical energy and is coupled to the circuit, positioning sensing device and the drive shaft. The device that converts energy is coupled to the energy source to receive energy from the energy source. A wireless communication bridge is in communication with a first wireless communication device that communicates with Network Systems, and a second wireless communication device in communication with the wireless communication bridge.

An intelligent door lock system includes components, a drive shaft of a lock device, a processor coupled to a wireless communication device, and an energy source coupled to a circuit. A device that converts energy into mechanical energy is coupled to the circuit and the drive shaft. The device that converts energy is coupled to the energy source to receive energy from the energy source. A ramp-up speed, a steady state speed and a ramp down speed are applied to the device that converts energy into mechanical energy. The ramp-up speed is applied when a first component initially engages with a second component. The steady state speed is applied following the initial engagement and is an operational speed that the device which converts energy uses during a standard operation mode. The ramp down speed is applied as the first and second components begin a state of non-engagement.
