An oxygen-generating wound dressing is provided. The oxygen-generating wound dressing comprises a housing and a wound contacting layer. The interior of the housing comprises a barrier member to divide the housing into a reactant receptacle and a wound contacting layer receptacle. The reactant receptacle of the housing further comprises a first reactant receptacle, a second reactant receptacle, a check valve disposed between the first reactant receptacle and the second reactant receptacle, a flow regulating device disposed on the second reactant receptacle and a gas deliver tube for fluidly communicating the first reactant receptacle and the wound contacting layer receptacle. The entrance speed of the second reactant into the first reactant receptacle can be controlled by the flow regulating device. The oxygen partial pressure can be maintained preferably and the wound healing can be improved by using the oxygen-generating wound dressing of the present invention.

Disclosed herein is a quantum rod light-guide plate for a backlight module of a liquid crystal display. The quantum rod light-guide plate includes a light-guide substrate with a side as a light in surface, a prism layer and a quantum rod layer. The prism layer is disposed on a first surface of the light-guide substrate and includes a plurality of parallel strip-shaped prisms extending along an extending direction parallel to the light incident surface of the light-guide substrate. The quantum rod layer is disposed on a second surface of the light-guide substrate opposite to the side of the prism layer, wherein the second surface is a light exiting surface and includes a plurality of quantum rods, wherein the major axes of the quantum rods are aligned along a direction parallel to the extending direction. With the quantum rod light-guide plate, the utilization of the backlight can be increased.

Disclosed herein is a quantum rod backlight module for a liquid crystal display. The quantum rod backlight module includes a quantum rod layer disposing at one side of a backlight source and comprising a plurality of quantum rods, wherein the major axes of the plurality of quantum rods are aligned along a direction parallel to a surface of the quantum rod layer; a first micro-prism layer including a plurality of first parallel strip-shape prisms, and a second micro-prism layer including a plurality of second parallel strip-shape prisms, wherein both of the alignment directions of the first parallel strip-shape prisms and the second parallel strip-shape prisms are perpendicular to the direction of the major axes of the plurality of quantum rods, and the retardations of the first micro-prism layer and the second micro-prism layer are zero.

Quantum rod backlight module

Disclosed herein is a polarizer for LCD. The polarizer includes a polarizing layer, a quantum rods layer comprising a plurality of quantum rods, a first protective layer and a second protective layer, wherein major axis of the quantum rods is aligned in a direction perpendicular to the absorption axis of the polarizing layer. Accordingly, the incident unpolarized light emitted from the backlight unit can be transferred to be polarized light by the quantum rods layer and pass through the polarizing layer directly for enhancing the utility of the backlight.

A quantum rod film for a backlight unit of a liquid crystal display is disclosed herein. The quantum rod film includes a first barrier layer, a sub-wavelength microstructure on the first barrier layer, and a plurality of quantum rods, wherein the sub-wavelength microstructure includes gratings aligned in a parallel direction, an alignment microstructure disposed in grooves between the gratings in a direction perpendicular to the gratings, and a reflective layer on upper surfaces of the gratings. A plurality of quantum rods are arranged in the alignment microstructure of the sub-wavelength microstructure, and major axes of the quantum rods are aligned in a direction perpendicular to the gratings.

Disclosed herein is a quantum rod film for a backlight unit. The quantum rod film includes a quantum rod layer having a plurality of quantum rods wherein major axes of the quantum rods are aligned along a direction; a micro-prism layer having a first refractive index and a plurality of parallel strip-shape prisms disposed at a light incident side of the quantum rod layer; and a birefringent layer on the micro-prism layer. By the refractive index difference between the first refractive index of the micro-prism layer and the extraordinary refractive index or the ordinary refractive index of the birefringent layer, the incident light parallel to the direction of major-axes of the quantum rods will selectively pass through the quantum rod film, and the incident light perpendicular to the direction of major-axes of the quantum rods will reflect to backlight for recycling and increasing the backlight efficiency.

A flat display device includes a flat display panel, an upper polarizing plate disposed on a light exit plane of the flat display panel, and a lower polarizing plate disposed on a light entrance plane of the flat display panel. The upper polarizing plate includes a wide view film, and its absorption axis and a horizontal view direction of the flat display panel have an included angle of about 15 degrees. The absorption axis of the lower polarizing plate and the horizontal view direction of the flat display panel have an included angle of about 105 degrees.
