An electronic device including a housing, a display component and an electronic component is provided. The housing includes a transparent cover and a middle frame, and the transparent cover is assembled to the middle frame. The display component is disposed in the housing. The electronic component is disposed in the housing, wherein the transparent cover has a flat portion and a connecting portion. The connecting portion curvingly extends from a side of the flat portion and includes at least one bonding surface, and a thickness of the flat portion is different from a thickness of the connecting portion.

Electronic device

A portable electronic device including a supporting plate, a frame, and a sensing component is provided. The supporting plate has a first sensing side surface. The frame is assembled around the supporting plate and has a second sensing side surface facing the first sensing side surface. The sensing component is disposed between the first sensing side surface and the second sensing side surface. The sensing component is configured to sense a variation in a distance to the first sensing side surface or sense a variation in a distance to the second sensing side surface. Moreover, a sensing method is also provided.

An electronic device and a physiological characteristic identifying module are provided. The electronic device includes a case, a physiological characteristic identifying element, a cover plate, a key cap, and an insulating static electricity shielding ring. The case has a first hole. The physiological characteristic identifying element is disposed in the first hole. The cover plate is disposed on the case and has a second hole. At least a portion of an upper surface of the physiological characteristic identifying element is exposed by the second hole. The key cap is disposed in the second hole and located above the upper surface. The insulating static electricity shielding ring is disposed on the rim of the physiological characteristic identifying element and covers an outer portion of the upper surface and at least a portion of a lateral surface of the physiological characteristic identifying element.

A multi-sensing system, a portable electronic device, and a touch-sensing method are provided. The multi-sensing system includes a sensing sheet and a carrier. The sensing sheet includes a substrate, and a touch-sensing circuit and a force-sensing circuit disposed on the substrate, wherein an orthogonal projection of the force-sensing circuit on the substrate and an orthogonal projection of the touch-sensing circuit on the substrate are misaligned from each other. The carrier has a carrying space and a carrying shoulder adjacent to the carrying space, wherein the carrier carries the sensing sheet with the carrying shoulder. The carrying space is used to accommodate a display element. The touch-sensing circuit is located above the display element.

Multi-sensing system, portable electronic device and touch-sensing method

A touch panel assembly includes a touch panel, a flexible circuit board, an input element and a light emitting element. The touch panel includes sensing series and pads. The pads are disposed on bonding regions of the touch panel and electrically connected to the sensing series. The flexible circuit board includes bonding portions and a light guide portion. Each bonding portion is disposed at the bonding region and includes terminals electrically connecting the pads. The light guide portion includes a connecting portion connecting the corresponding bonding portion and an extending portion connecting the connecting portion and extended away from the touch panel. The input element is located right above the extending portion. The light emitting element is disposed at a light incident side of the light guide portion.

An electronic device including a transparent cover, a transparent film, a display module, a side frame, and a base frame is provided. The transparent film is adhered to the transparent cover. The display module is adhered to the transparent film, such that the transparent film is disposed between the transparent cover and the display module. By extending the transparent film to the side frame and bonding the transparent film with the side frame, the transparent film is capable of stopping liquid, thereby archiving a waterproofing effect. A display unit, an electronic device and an assembling method are provided. The electronic device includes a case and a display unit. The case includes a holding compartment. The display unit is accommodated in the holding compartment, and includes a display module, a transparent cover layer and a transparent adhesive tape. The transparent adhesive tape is configured between the display module and the transparent adhesive tape, and the transparent adhesive tape is adhered to the transparent cover layer. The transparent adhesive tape includes a flange portion extending beyond the display module, and the flange portion can be bent to secure the display unit to the case. The second surface is leaned against a back plate. The back plate comprises at least one hole. The flange portion passes through the hole and is bent to attach to a surface of the display module that is farther away from the back plate.

A touch panel assembly including a touch panel and a flexible printed circuit board is provided. The touch panel includes a sensing area, at least one input element, a bonding area, a plurality of first connecting traces and a plurality of second connecting traces. The sensing area has a sensing array. The input element is located at a side of the sensing area. The bonding area is located between the sensing area and the input element. The first connecting traces and the second connecting traces are connected with the sensing array and the input element respectively and extend into bonding area. The flexible printed circuit board has a bonding portion. The flexible printed circuit board is attached to the bonding area through the bonding portion, and is electrically connected to the first connecting traces and the second connecting traces. An electronic device is also provided.

A touch panel assembly includes a touch panel and a flexible circuit board. The touch panel includes a sensing array having sensing units, first connection lines, second connection lines, at least one input element, and pads. The first and second connection lines are outside the sensing array and electrically connected to the sensing units respectively. The input element is outside the sensing array and close to a side of the touch panel. The pads are in a bonding region of the touch panel and electrically connected to the first and second connection lines respectively. The bonding region is close to the side of the touch panel and is arranged along with the input element in parallel to the side of the touch panel. The flexible circuit board has a connecting portion extended and attached to the bonding region. Terminals of the connecting portion are electrically connected to the pads respectively.

For a communication device having a touch module or a touch display module, a near field communicable NFC antenna pattern is disposed on a component above a touch sensor unit of the touch module or the touch display module, which places the NFC antenna pattern away from the shielding easily generated from the metallic frame or metallic housing of the communication device. The NFC antenna pattern may be printed on a bottom side, a top side, or in the interior of a cover lens of the touch module or the touch display module, or on a surface of a deco film outside the cover lens. A ferrite sheet may also be disposed between the NFC antenna pattern and the touch sensor unit for further preventing electromagnetic interference from the touch sensor unit or other internal components.

The first sensing layer and the second sensing layer have plural transparent electrode patterns and are respectively disposed at the first side and the second side of the first carrying portion. The transparent electrode patterns are respectively connected with the first connection lines and the second connection lines. A handheld electronic device with a touch input function is also provided.

The display unit is accommodated in the holding compartment, and includes a display module, a transparent cover layer and a transparent adhesive tape.
