An enterosoluble and intestinal-enzyme-biodegradable material is provided. The enterosoluble and intestinal-enzyme-biodegradable material includes a modified amylopectin, wherein at least one of hydrogen atoms is replaced by &#x2014;CO&#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;COOH (n is 2-4) and the modified amylopectin has an acid value of 35-180 mg KOH/g. The disclosure also provides a method for preparing an enterosoluble and intestinal-enzyme-biodegradable material.

Enterosoluble and intestinal-enzyme-biodegradable materials and method for preparing the same

A method for preparing a pharmaceutical compound by way of magnetic carbon nanocapsules is disclosed. The method comprises steps of: (a) providing a magnetic carbon nanocapsule with C&#x2014;(COOH)group, and Pt cations, to form a complex; (b) collecting the complex from the magnetic carbon nanocapsule; and (c) removing the Pt cations on the complex.

Method for preparing a pharmaceutical compound by way of magnetic carbon nanocapsules

A carbon nanocapsule thin film and the preparation method thereof. A plurality of carbon nanocapsules are electroplated on a substrate, and the carbon nanocapsule thin film is thereby formed. By electroplating purified carbon nanocapsules on the substrate, the carbon nanocapsule thin film, electric- and heat-conductive, chemical-resistive, and anti-oxidizing, is formed.

Carbon nanocapsule thin film and preparation method thereof

A carbon nanocapsule-layered silicate hybrid is provided. Layered silicates (platelet-shaped) as a dispersant are mixed with carbon nanocapsules (sphere-shaped) by a physical process. The physically mixed hybrid exhibits a homogeneous dispersion phase due to the geometric shape inhomogeneity factor. Aggregation of carbon nanocapsules is thus avoided. The hybrid can be dispersed in a polar or non-polar solvent with a solid content of about 0.01-30 wt %.

Carbon nanocapsule-layered silicate hybrid and preparation method thereof

A method for preparing nanowires is disclosed, which comprises the following steps: (a) providing a first precursor solution containing IIB group elements, and a second precursor solution containing VIA group elements; (b) mixing and heating the first precursor solution and the second precursor solution to form a mixed solution; and (c) cooling the mixed solution and filtering the mixed solution to obtain nanowires. The first precursor solution includes compounds of IIB group elements and a surfactant. The second precursor solution includes compounds of VIA group elements. Besides, the surfactant is an organic acid having an aromatic group or a salt thereof.

The present invention discloses a resin composition reclaimed from compact disk waste having improved mechanical characteristics. The resin composition in accordance with the present invention comprises (a) compact disk waste comprising polycarbonate (PC) as a primary component; and (b) a coupling agent containing two or more reactive functional groups. Optionally, the resin composition of the present invention may further comprise (c) an impact-resistant thermoplastic resin, engineering plastic grade PC or waste thereof, or recycled bottle grade PC.

Resin composition reclaimed from compact disk waste

Modified polyurethane products, exhibiting good physical strength and excellent heat resistance, and especially improved heat sag properties, are prepared by blending a polyol component containing at least 1% of at least one polynuclear aromatic polyol or a derivative thereof, or a mononuclear diol or a derivative thereof, at a temperature of 100.degree.-180.degree. C., to form a first liquid component; admixing the first liquid component with a second liquid component containing a diisocyanate or polyisocyanate, one of the two liquid components containing a catalyst; and reacting and molding the admixture in a mold kept at a temperature of from 80.degree.-140.degree. C. by reaction injection molding.

Production of a lightweight, flame retardant, sound absorption composition in the form of a phenol-aldehyde/polyurethane hybrid polymer foam of open cell structure and interconnected continuous porous architecture, by reacting 100 parts by weight phenolic resin, such as a resole resin of an aldehyde and a phenol, e.g. formaldehyde and phenol, having an aldehyde to phenol mole ratio greater than about 1:1; about 50-300 parts by weight aromatic or aliphatic polyisocyanate; about 0-100 parts by weight aliphatic group containing polyol, e.g. a polyether, polyester, polycaprolactone or polybutadiene polyol; and about 0-100 parts by weight filler; in the presence of a catalyst, e.g. a basic and/or metal salt catalyst in an amount of about 0.01-2 parts by weight, and a blowing agent, especially with all reactants but the polyisocyanate being premixed and then combined with the polyisocyanate for reaction in an open mold, e.g. with the resole resin having a pH of about 4.5-9.5, a solid content of about 50-98%, and a viscosity of not greater than about 100,000 cps at 25.degree. C., and optionally with a surfactant being included in the premixed reactants.
