Examples described herein relate to flexible antenna belts. For instance, a system may comprise a flexible antenna belt, where the flexible antenna belt is to transition between a closed position and an open position, and a flexible display coupled to the flexible antenna belt.

Flexible antenna belts

Examples of slot antennas are described herein. In an example, the slot antenna includes a substrate and an antenna element disposed on the substrate to transmit and receive signals. The substrate is porous.

Slot antennas

Dual band slot antenna is described. The dual band slot antenna includes a ground plane having a slot, a conductive patch, a dielectric substrate disposed between the conductive patch and the ground plane, and a coaxial cable fastened on the conductive patch to form a first loop region and a second loop region of different sizes for dual band operation.

An example base cover for a lower housing of a convertible computing device includes a first metallic structure positioned in the lower housing, and a second metallic structure electrically isolated from the first metallic structure. The second metallic structure is positioned in the lower housing and directly below an antenna slot defined in an upper housing of the convertible computing device when the upper housing is positioned over and parallel to the lower housing.

Base covers aligned for slot antennas on convertible computing devices

In example implementations, an antenna for a mobile device is provided. The antenna includes a printed circuit board and a plurality of metal members coupled to the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board is devoid of metal traces. The plurality of metal members is positioned along a length of the printed circuit board to operate at a desired frequency band when inserted into an opening along an outer edge perimeter of a metallic housing of the mobile device.

Invisible antennas

Examples disclosed herein control radiation exposure for a wireless computing device. In one example, the wireless computing device monitors for instances of upload transmissions from a wireless communications module of the wireless computing device, performs a running average of the instances of upload transmissions over a period of time, and determines whether the running average exceeds a threshold value. If the running average exceeds the threshold value, the wireless computing device adjusts upload transmissions from the wireless communications module to control the radiation exposure for the wireless computing device.

An example electronic device may include an antenna module comprising an active element and a ground plane. The electronic device may include a proximity sensor element integrated within the antenna module, wherein the proximity sensor element is to detect proximity of a user.
