A light source device with a safety mechanism includes a wavelength converting device and a laser light source configured to provide a laser beam. The wavelength converting device includes a substrate facing toward the laser light source, an optical converting layer disposed on the substrate, and a safety examination layer disposed on one side of the optical converting layer. After the laser beam passes through the safety examination layer, the laser beam enters the optical converting layer. The safety examination layer includes a first conductive film arranged along a first direction and a second conductive film arranged along a second direction. The first conductive film and the second conductive film intersect each other.

Light source device with safety mechanism and wavelength converting device thereof

A white light illumination system is provided, including a light source unit, a beam splitter unit, a phosphor unit, a heat dissipation unit, and a diffuse reflective unit. The light source generating unit can generate an approximately collimated light beam along a predetermined transmission path. The beam splitter unit, the phosphor unit, and the diffuse reflective unit are disposed adjacent to one side of the light source unit. The beam splitter unit is located on the predetermined transmission path. The approximately collimated light beam is projected onto the beam splitter unit. The heat dissipation unit is disposed on the phosphor unit.

White light illumination system

Disclosed is a medical needle used for performing a piercing or insertion operation on an object repetitively, the medical needle comprising a needle body and a metallic glass material layer formed on a surface of the needle body, the metallic glass material layer comprising an alloy consisting of aluminum, zirconium, copper and tantalum. With the presence of the metallic glass material layer covering the needle body, the medical needle may maintain its sharpness after having performed multiple piercing or insertion operations to enhance durability, minimize the increase of maximum piercing or insertion force resulted from piercing or insertion operations, and decrease injury to the object caused by piercing or insertion operations.

Disclosed is a cockroach-trap mainly including a box having a top cover and a bottom tray pivotally hinged together, a metal net spread over inner surfaces of the box and being formed by alternately and densely arranging conductors of different polarities, and an intermittent-high-voltage generating circuit electrically connected to two conductors extended from the metal net. The box is provided with at least one entrance which is not covered by the metal net. When the box is closed, two pin holes separately provided on the top cover and the bottom tray opposite to the hinges together form a socket to receive a plug connected to a power source, so that power can be supplied to the intermittent-high-voltage generating circuit for the circuit to generate intermittent high voltage on the metal net. Cockroaches entering into the closed box can be killed by the high voltage. The cockroach-trap is absolutely safe when the top cover is lifted from the bottom tray and no high voltage current can be supplied to the metal net.
