A passive optical network device comprising a casing, printed circuit board, and fiber optic transceiver system is provided. The fiber optic transceiver system comprises a fiber optic components device, fiber optic transceiver, and RF connector. During operation, the fiber optic components device converts optical signals from the fiber optic transceiver to digital signals, and then transmits the converted digital signals to external electronic systems via the hot-pluggable transceiver connection interface. The fiber optic components device converts digital signals from the external electronic systems to optical signals, and then transmits the optical signals to other external electronic systems via the fiber optic transceiver. The RF connector transmits RF signals from additional external electronic systems to the external electronic systems via the hot-pluggable transceiver connection interface. The RF connector transmits digital signals from the external electronic systems to the additional external electronic systems via the hot-pluggable transceiver connection interface.

Passive optical network device

A pluggable optical transceiver comprising a main body, an optical sub-assembly, an operation indicator assembly, a circuit board, a main body covering, and a rotatable locking assembly is provided. The optical sub-assembly, operation indicator assembly, and circuit board are electrically coupled and positioned within an optical fiber opening and electrical connector opening of the main body, respectively. The rotatable locking assembly is configured to release the pluggable optical transceiver from communications equipment. The operation indicator assembly has a flexible printed circuit board, at least a circuit board metalized pad, and at least a light-emitting element. The light-emitting element emits light at the optical fiber opening on an operation indicator side of the main body, for visually recognizing an operational status of the pluggable optical transceiver.

Pluggable optical transceiver

An optical fiber module includes: a casing; a first optical fiber having a portion in the casing; a first optical transmitter in the casing, wherein the first optical transmitter is configured to emit a first optical signal to the first optical fiber; a second optical fiber having a portion in the casing, wherein optical signals transmitted through the second optical fiber are independent from those transmitted through the first optical fiber; and a first optical receiver in the casing, wherein the first optical receiver is configured to receive a second optical signal from the second optical fiber.
