A single-inductor multi-output (SIMO) DC-DC buck converter includes a first switch, a second switch, a third switch, a fourth switch, an inductor, an error amplifier circuit, an inductor current ripple emulator circuit, a comparison circuit, and a control circuit. The error amplifier circuit generates a first error signal and a second error signal according to the output voltages of the SIMO DC-DC buck converter. The inductor current ripple emulator circuit generates a sensed voltage according to a first terminal voltage and a second terminal voltage of the inductor. The comparison circuit generates a first comparison result and a second comparison result according to the first error signal, the second error signal, and the sensed voltage. The control circuit generates first to fourth control signals for respectively controlling the first to fourth switches according to the first comparison result and the second comparison result.

Single-inductor multi-output (SIMO) direct current to direct current (DC-DC) buck converter

An optical receiver device includes a boost converter circuit, an optical receiver circuit, and a pulse width modulation controller circuitry. The boost converter circuit is configured to convert a supply voltage according to a pulse width modulation signal, in order to generate an output voltage. The optical receiver circuit is configured to set a gain according to the output voltage, in order to convert an optical signal to a data signal according to the gain. The pulse width modulation controller circuitry is configured to perform a digital to analog conversion according to a control code to gradually adjust a current associated with the output voltage, and to compare the output voltage with a reference voltage to generate the pulse width modulation signal.

Optical receiver device, pulse width modulation controller circuitry, and sensitivity control method

A power supply device includes a pulse frequency modulation controller circuitry and a cycle controller circuitry. The pulse frequency modulation controller circuitry is configured to adjust a transiting speed of a first signal according to at least one control bit, and to compare the first signal with a first reference voltage to generate a second signal, and to generate a driving signal to a power converter circuit according to an output voltage, a second reference voltage, and the second signal, in which the power converter circuit is configured to generate the output voltage according to the driving signal. The cycle controller circuitry is configured to detect a frequency of the driving signal according to a clock signal having a predetermined frequency, in which the predetermined frequency is set based on a frequency range capable of being heard by humans.

Power supply device and pulse frequency modulation method

A power supplier circuit supplies a power signal to a codec of an audio apparatus. The power supplier circuit includes a random sequence generation circuit, a control circuit, and a power circuit. The random sequence generation circuit generates a random sequence. The control circuit outputs a first control signal according to the random sequence, a first reference signal, and the power signal. The power circuit generates the power signal according to the first control signal, such that the power signal is spread in response to the random sequence.

Power supplier circuit and operation method

A PFM control circuit includes a switching circuit, a slope-decision circuit, a flip-flop, a first and a second comparison circuits. The first comparison circuit outputs a first signal according to an output voltage of a power conversion circuit. The switching circuit outputs a switching signal according to an output current of the power conversion circuit. The slope-decision circuit outputs a slope modulation voltage, and determines a slope modulation voltage with a first or a second slope according to the switching signal. The second comparison circuit outputs the second signal according to the slope modulation voltage. When the slope modulation voltage has the first or the second slope, the control signal has a first or a second frequency accordingly. The first frequency is higher than the second frequency.

A charging system includes: an input voltage supply circuit; a control circuit coupled to the input voltage supply circuit, configured to control the input voltage supply circuit to generate an input voltage according to a battery voltage of a target battery; and a charging circuit, coupled to the control circuit, configured to receive the input voltage and to provide a charging current to charge the target battery. The input voltage is generated according to a function that takes the battery voltage as a parameter. The input voltage is positively correlated with the battery voltage, and is greater than the battery voltage.

A regulator device includes a first switch, a second switch, and a controlling circuit. A control terminal of the first switch is configured to receive a first control signal. A regulator device includes a first switch, a second switch, a protecting circuit, and a driving circuit. The first switch is configured to receive power supply voltage. One terminal of the second switch and the first switch are coupled at a node. The other terminal of the second switch is coupled to ground. The protecting circuit is coupled to the node, and outputs at least one protecting signal according to the turn on/off state of the first switch and the second switch and the voltage of the node. The driving circuit is coupled to the first switch, the second switch, and the protecting circuit, and turns off the first switch or the second switch according the at least one protecting signal.

Disclosed are a feedback control circuit and a method thereof. The feedback control circuit includes a voltage comparator, a calibration voltage generator and processor. The voltage comparator receives a middle-point voltage and a calibration voltage, compares the middle-point voltage and calibration voltage, and outputs a reference voltage pulse signal. The calibration voltage generator generates the calibration voltage and outputs it to a switch driving circuit and the voltage comparator. The processor compares the pulse widths of the reference voltage pulse signal and a predetermined voltage pulse signal, and accordingly outputs a control signal to the calibration voltage generator to fine tune the calibration voltage. The switch driving circuit outputs a switch driving signal to a switching regulating circuit to adjust the timing when to turn on or off switches in the switching regulating circuit.

A pulse generation circuit, for outputting a pulse signal at an output terminal, comprises a PMOS, an NMOS and a logic circuit. The PMOS has a source coupled to a first reference voltage level, a drain coupled to the output terminal, and a gate coupled to a first gate control signal. The NMOS has a source coupled to a second reference voltage level, a drain coupled to the output terminal, and a gate coupled to a second gate control signal. The logic circuit generates the first gate control signal according to a control signal and a first logic signal, relating to the second gate control signal and a delay signal of the second gate control signal, and generates the second gate control signal according to the control signal and a second logic signal, relating to the first gate control signal and a delay signal of the first control signal.

Where the switch is utilized to output selectively output a first reference voltage or a second reference voltage as an output voltage according to a control signal. The inductor is coupled to the switch, and produces an inductor output voltage according to the output voltage. The capacitor is coupled to the inductor. The output voltage processing unit is used to output a processed inductor output voltage according to the output voltage and the inductor output voltage. The control unit is used to output the control signal according to at least the processed inductor output voltage.

A device of inductance detection, which includes: a controller, a current pulse generator, and a detector. The controller generates a control signal and an enable signal to the switching regulator according to a judge signal. The switching regulator then generates an output voltage. The current pulse generator is coupled to the controller and generates a current pulse signal to the object according to the control signal. The detector is coupled to the object and the current pulse generator, and is used to detect a reflective signal responded by the object after the object receives the current pulse signal. The detector then generates a judge signal according to the reflective signal.
