A three in one combination imaging module comprising a light guide positioned in a light guide holder, a light emitting diode module, and a doublet or GRIN lens array held in a housing. The light guide holder and the housing comprise mating connecting elements. The connecting elements comprise locking elements, tabs, notches, slots, and clips that cooperate and interact in order to securely hold and accurately position each of the components in the housing without the use of adhesive. Light emitted by the light emitting diode module enters, travels through, and then exits the light guide and is received by the doublet or GRIN lens array and then focused on a sensor array and captured.

Three in one combination imaging module

A coverless linear light source light guide with hooded bracket for holding a light emitting diode (LED) module to the light guide is disclosed. The hooded bracket is disposed around the light receiving end of the light guide and comprises a hood top, a hood back, two hood sides, and two hood grasps disposed on the hood sides. The hood back comprises the light receiving end of the light guide where light enters the light guide. The hood grasp comprises grasping elements that mate with grasping elements of the LED module to securely hold the LED module to the light guide. The hooded bracket ensures that the distance between the LED module and the light guide and the angle of the LED module and the light guide is constant which maintains optimal alignment and proximity in order to conserve received light intensity and maintain uniformity of emitted light.

An Abbe prism lens and lens array are disclosed. The lens comprises front lenses disposed on a front surface of the Abbe prism, rear lenses disposed on a rear surface of the Abbe prism, a front bottom reflecting surface, a rear bottom reflecting surface, a left top reflecting surface, and a right top reflecting surface. An aperture cover is positioned over the front surface of the Abbe prism lens and a field cover is positioned over the rear surface of the Abbe prism lens. The aperture cover comprises aperture holes encircling the aspherical front lenses. The field cover comprises field holes encircling the aspherical rear lenses. Light enters the Abbe prism lens and reflects off the front bottom reflecting surface, reflects off the left top reflecting surface and the right top reflecting surface, reflects off the rear bottom reflecting surface, and exits the rear lens of the Abbe prism lens.

An optical mouse system with a high-angle optical path features small size and low power consumption. The illumination source and optical sensor are mounted in the same plane, directly on the PCB. The higher angle of the optical path causes more light to be reflected to the optical sensor, increasing optical efficiency and allowing a smaller, lower powered LED to be used. This also results in increased sensitivity of the optical sensor, allowing use of the mouse on surfaces on which conventional optical mice cannot function adequately. Sensitivity can be further increased by optional isolation of the optical sensor and illumination source. Lower power usage increases battery life for mobile or wireless-mouse use, while reducing thermal waste considerations. This allows the creation of a significantly smaller form factor for the overall package, thereby reducing materials costs and giving designers more flexibility for external design considerations.

Miniaturized optical mouse core

An optical lens array featuring low cost and simple manufacture. The lens array has two lens sections separated by spacers, with a stop on the front surface. An optional wraparound frame protects the lens array from external light. The spacers and stop, as well as the optional frame, are made of black polymer to block unwanted scattered or external light. The lens sections, stop, spacers, and frame can all be made by injection-molding. Notches, locating holes, posts, and ears serve to orient and align the parts, and to prevent incorrect assembly.

Lens array

Provided is an improvement to the slide fastener constructing machine. The improvement provides a tooth-notching unit for forming a notch on each tooth on the stringer produced by a stringer producing unit which is a conventional unit and subsequently collected by a stringer collecting unit which is also a conventional unit. The tooth-notching unit includes a base having a passage allowing the stringer of teeth to pass therethrough and a grinding wheel or a circular disk cutter as cutting means provided on top of the passage for cutting a notch on top of each tooth on the stringer. To clear away rubbish produced by the notching process, various devices are provided including brushes and vacuum cleaners. The tooth-notching unit allows the slide fastener constructing machine to produce stringers of teeth that can be stitched securely to clothing. Its construction also allows easy maintenance.

An airplane with an enlarged safety door in the lower middle part of the fuselage which can be opened during mid-flight emergencies so as to let emergency exit stairs be hydraulically lowered down therefrom. The stairs have a hydraulically operated slideway on the lower end thereof. Chair assemblies which are slidable on rails and which are normally retained by a flip-up board. An air-flow system comprising an air exhaust shield, a plurality of fans, air vents distributed at even intervals along the ceiling of the plane. An air supply system comprising pipes that run between the walls of the airplane to a plurality of outlets on the end sections of the pipe.
