A representative system for displaying images comprises a pixel array, a conversion circuit, a memory device, and a compensation circuit. The pixel array has a plurality of pixels, each having at least one organic light emitting element equipped with a sensing unit which retrieves display information when the organic light emitting element retrieves a test signal. The conversion circuit determines a display parameter of each organic light emitting element according to the test signal and the display information of each organic light emitting element. The memory device stores the display parameter of each organic light emitting element. The compensation circuit modifies a video signal in accordance with the display parameters stored in the memory device.

A system having an electrostatic discharge protection structure and a method for manufacturing the structure are provided. The structure comprises a conducting layer, a material layer and a bridging layer wherein the conducting layer is divided into a first conducting portion and a second conducting portion to form a gap therebetween. The material layer is disposed onto the conducting layer, forming a first via hole to expose a part of the first conducting portion and a second via hole to expose a part of the second conducting portion. Finally, the bridging layer disposed onto the material layer electrically connects the first conducting portion to the second conducting portion within the first and second via holes, whereby the electrostatic produced during the manufacturing process would be prevented from damaging the driver circuits.

A method and circuit for driving LCD are provided. Because the conventional Vcom inversion drive method cannot be applied in a self-aligned process, the power consumption cannot be reduced when the size of the transistor decreases. The method and circuit provided uses two different AC signals to provide different reference voltages for the storage capacitor and the liquid crystal capacitor in a pixel respectively. Therefore, it can be applied to the self-aligned process to reduce the power consumption.

An active layer has a channel region, a first doped region and a second doped region, in which the first doped region is disposed between the channel region and the second doped region. The shielding region is disposed between the central region and the extending region, the central region covers the channel region, the shielding region covers the first doped region, and the extending region covers the second doped region. The shielding region is thicker than the extending region. A gate layer is formed overlying the gate insulating layer, covers the central region and exposes the shielding region and the extending region.

A display panel with an anti-Newton ring structure is disclosed. The display panel includes a substrate with an array region and a display region defined thereon. A buffer layer is disposed on the substrate and at least one transistor is formed in the array region. The display panel further includes an anti-Newton ring structure substantially composed of a silicon layer on the buffer layer in the display region, at least one dielectric layer disposed on the anti-Newton ring structure, and a pixel electrode disposed on the dielectric layer in the display region.
