A flexible printed circuit board connector includes a housing, a sliding cover and a pair of support nails. A pair of guiding grooves and a pair of insertion holes are defined in sidewalls of the housing for receiving the support nails. A protruding portion is formed on each support nail to form a pivotal hole between the protruding portion and inner surfaces of the groove. The sliding cover has a pair of cam shafts rotatably supported in the pivotal holes. The cross section of each cam shaft has an utmost protrudent point which brushes past an inner surface of the pivotal hole when flipping the sliding cover. The length of the longest chord of the cross section that passes the utmost protrudent point is longer than the distance between the inner surface brushed by the utmost protrudent point and its opposite inner surface of the pivotal hole. To flip down the sliding cover, a considerable force is needed to overcome the interference between the utmost protrudent point and the inner surfaces of the pivotal hole. Therefore, the sliding cover is prevented from being accidentally turned over.

Connector for flexible printed circuit board

An audio jack connector includes a dielectric housing, a plurality of terminals received in the dielectric housing and a nut received in the dielectric housing too. The dielectric housing has a first body. A nut fixing means protrudes from the bottom of the first body. The nut fixing means has a main body. A nut receiving cavity is defined on one end surface of the main body. A pair of recesses are defined in the inner surface of the nut receiving cavity. A hole is formed on the other end surface of the main body. The hole communicates with the nut receiving cavity and a reacting wall is defined on where the hole communicates with the nut receiving cavity. The nut includes a second body. A pair of limbs are defined on the outer surface of the second body and engage with the recesses.

Audio jack connector

A receptacle connector includes a body, a cover assembled outside the body and a terminal module received in the body. The terminal module comprises a plurality of terminals and a pedestal. Each terminal defines a fixing portion. The fixing portion stretches sideward and forms a pair of locating projections. The pedestal further comprises an upper and a lower board. Both the upper and the lower board define a plurality of terminal channels and locating cavities. The fixing portion of the terminal is received in the terminal channel. The locating projection of the terminal is received and fixed in the locating cavity. The sides of the pedestal protrude sideward to form a pair of inserting portion. Accordingly, the body defines a receiving cavity to receive the terminal module. The body also defines a pair of receiving channels in sides of the receiving cavity for receiving the inserting portion of the pedestal.

Receptacle connector having terminals with locating projections extending in opposite directions

A HDMI connector includes a dielectric housing, a plurality of terminals, a support board, an upper lid, a lower lid and wires. The dielectric housing has a plurality of terminal grooves extending from a front sidewall to a rear sidewall. The terminals are inserted into the terminal grooves. The support board connects with the rear sidewall of the dielectric housing. A plurality of channels are disposed on a top surface and a bottom surface thereon. The upper lid has a plurality of first clip grooves disposed on the lower surface, and a plurality of protrusions are formed therebetween. The lower lid has a plurality of second clip grooves disposed on the upper surface, and a plurality of protrusions are formed therebetween. The wires are arranged in the channels connecting with the terminals. The upper lid and the lower lid buckle with the channels to fix the wires in the channels.

HDMI connector

A receptacle connector includes a body and a cover assembled outside the body. The body defines a receiving space and a pair of beams. The end of each beam stretches backward to form a guiding projection. The bottom of the guiding projection is a cambered surface. The cover is bent downward from the front portion to form a pair of elastic arms. The bottom portion of the elastic arm is bent forward to form a finger portion. While a plug connector is inserted into the receiving space of the receptacle connector, the elastic arms press against the pressing portion of the plug connector. When the plug connector is dragged accidentally, the elastic portion of the plug connector slides downward along the finger portion to the cambered surface of the guiding projections, and then slides out of the receiving space to set the plug and receptacle connector apart.

Receptacle connector

An electrical connector assembly for soldering with a PCB and connecting to a plug includes an insulating housing containing a terminal module and a LED module. The terminal module includes a base containing a plurality of terminals. Each terminal has a body, a contacting portion extended upwardly from one end of the body for mating with the plug, a soldering portion bent rearwards from the other end of the body for soldering with the PCB. The LED module includes a pair of conduction terminals. Each conduction terminal has a post, a contacting portion extended frontward from one end of the post for connecting to a LED element, a soldering portion bent rearwards from the other end of the post for soldering with the PCB. Additionally, the soldering portions of the terminals and the conduction terminals are arranged at same plane for soldering with the PCB by surface mount technology.

Electrical connector assembly

A matrix board to board connector assembly includes a first connector and a second connector. A first locking piece is provided and fixed on the first connector. The first locking piece has a locking portion bend from a lower edge thereof and extending sideward and outward. A second locking piece is provided with an elastic portion and fixed on the second connector. The elastic portion is configured to provide a spring end. The spring end is firstly protruded and then concaved at its free end. During mating of the first and the second connectors, the spring end is firstly deflected and then elastically recovered to hit on the locking portion with a click to insure that the first and the second connectors have been properly mated.

Matrix board to board connector assembly

A battery connecting apparatus includes a housing, a base and a connector. The housing has a receiving cavity with an opening at an end thereof for receiving a battery therein. The base for sealing the opening of the housing has an assembling hole defined therein. The connector is mounted on the base with a lower portion thereof extending below the base through the assembling hole and an upper portion thereof supported by the base. A sliding engagement mechanism is provided between the base and the connector for enabling the connector to slide between a removable position where the connector is removable from the base and an assembled position where the connector is assembled with the base. A latching mechanism is provided between the base and the insulating body for latching the connector in the assembled position.
