A method of assembling a photoelectric conversion module is disclosed. The photoelectric conversion module includes a circuit board on which are mounted a light emitting element, a light receiving element, and an optical element optically connected to the light emitting element and the light receiving element. The light emitting element is positioned on the circuit board based on a positioning mark formed on the circuit board beforehand. The light receiving element and the optical element are positioned based on a position of a light emission point of the light emitting element.

Method for assembling a photoelectric conversion module

An optical connector includes an optical element to be optically connected to an optical fiber; and an optical component. The optical component includes an element fixation part configured to fix the optical element to the optical component; a ferrule attachment part to which a ferrule having the optical fiber connected thereto is to be attached; and a lens to face the optical fiber when the ferrule is attached to the ferrule attachment part. The optical element is positioned relative to the optical fiber in response to attachment of the ferrule to the ferrule attachment part.

Optical connector

The object is to provide a transceiver module that is capable of performing a high-rate communication, and satisfies the demand at a moderate cost in a case where short distance communication is enough for transmitting or receiving signals. The transceiver module has a Re-timer, a control portion, a reference clock generating portion, a power portionand a CX4 interface. The Re-timeris coupled to a transceiver portion (Tx/Rx)through an XAUI (10 Gigabit Media Independent Interface) interface, and is coupled to other component that is coupled to one end of a cablefor balanced transmission through the CX4 (10GBASE-CX4) interface

Transceiver module

A transceiver module for mounting to an information processing apparatus is disclosed. The transceiver module includes a housing including a cover part provided at a front side of the transceiver module, a data transmission/reception part mounted to the housing, the data transmission/reception part, a connector installed in the cover part of the housing, and a latch mechanism including an engagement pawl part engaged with the housing, the engagement pawl part including a first cam part, a spring member urging from the housing and abutting the engagement pawl part in a first width direction of the transceiver module, and a pull sleeve having a second cam part for pressing against the first cam part when the pull sleeve is pulled in a longitudinal direction of the transceiver module.

A cable connector type transceiver module is disclosed. Pads for wire soldering are disposed near a card edge connecting section of the tip of a printed circuit board on the printed circuit board. Pairs of wires of a cable for balanced transmission are extended in the direction of the card edge connecting section over a control IC package. Signal wires at the tips of insulation covered signal wires of the pairs of wires are soldered to the pads for wire soldering at the position near the card edge connecting section rather than near the control IC package.
