A projector includes: an outer housing which forms an external case; and a foot attached to the outer housing and brought into contact with an installation surface when the projector is placed on the installation surface, wherein the foot includes a foot main body which contacts the installation surface, and a rotational member supported rotatably with respect to the outer housing in such a condition that at least a part of the rotational member is exposed to the outside of the outer housing, and the foot main body engages with the rotational member and shifts in the direction along a rotation axis of the rotational member in accordance with rotation of the rotational member.

Projector

A projector includes: a light source device; an optical modulation device; a projection optical device; and an exterior casing, wherein a luminous flux passage opening for allowing the image light projected magnified from the projection optical device to pass through is formed in a first surface of the exterior casing, the projection optical device includes an aspheric mirror which reflects the image light to the first surface side, and magnifies and projects the image light via the luminous flux passage opening, and the exterior casing is provided with a transmissive member which closes the luminous flux passage opening; and a cover which, being movably attached to the first surface, moves between a closed position in which the transmissive member is covered and an open position in which the transmissive member is exposed.

An image display, includes: an image display section for forming and displaying an image in accordance with image information to be input; and a casing for housing the image display section, in which the casing includes: a lateral portion visible from an outside, the image display section being exposed from the lateral portion; and a bottom portion extending from a lower end of the lateral portion toward a rear side of the device, an opening for introducing air outside the casing is formed in the bottom portion, and an air filter for cleaning the air passing the opening is provided at the opening such that the air filter can be inserted to/removed from the lateral portion.

Image display

There is provided a rear projector capable of preventing entry of dust. A cabinet of the rear projector has a front side thereof formed with an opening. A screen panel slightly larger in size than the opening is attached to the front side of the cabinet such that the opening edge portion of the opening of the cabinet and the periphery of the screen panel are opposed to each other. The screen panel receives projection light projected from behind for image display, and thereby displays an image thereon. A projector unit is disposed within the cabinet, for projecting the projection light. A dust-proofing sealing member is disposed between the periphery of the screen panel and the opening edge portion, the screen panel is attached to the housing.

Rear projector

A projection television has an upper cabinet and a lower cabinet. The upper cabinet includes a mirror case. A cooling structure includes a first internal duct formed by the joint surface between the mirror case and the lower cabinet, and openings functioning as an inlet and an outlet of the first internal duct are formed in the mirror case, so as to constitute a first cooling flow path for cooling liquid crystal panels of an optical unit provided in the lower cabinet.
