A heatsink is used with a fluid flow generator that rotates about a central axis extending vertically. The heatsink includes a main body section having a top surface facing the fluid flow generator in a vertical direction, and fins that extend upward from the top surface so as to define a plurality of flow passages. The plurality of flow passages form a plurality of fluid paths, each of which has an inlet for the fluid discharged from the fluid flow generator to flow in, and an outlet for discharging to outside the fluid that has entered through the inlet. At least one of the plurality of fluid paths has a first branch section for branching from a first fluid path on downstream of the inlet, and a first joining section for joining a second fluid path having another inlet, on downstream of the first branch section.

Heatsink and cooling device

A heatsink, which is used with a fluid flow generator that rotates about a central axis extending vertically to generate a flow of fluid, includes a main body section having a top surface facing the fluid flow generator in a vertical direction, and fins that extend upward from the top surface so as to define a plurality of flow passages. Four regions defined by an X axis and a Y axis, which cross each other at an intersection between the central axis and the top surface and extend in an extending direction of the top surface, are referred to as a first region, a second region, a third region, and a fourth region, in order in a direction opposite to a rotation direction of the fluid flow generator. In a plan view from above, the plurality of flow passages form a plurality of fluid paths, each of which has an inlet disposed in at least one of the four regions for the fluid discharged from the fluid flow generator to flow in and an outlet disposed in the first region, and a fluid flow direction changes at an acute angle in the middle in at least one of the fluid paths having the inlet in the fourth region.

A cooling structure includes: a main body receiving heat from a heat source and releasing the heat through a heat dissipation surface and a plurality of heat dissipation fins; a lid member having an air inlet and a fastened portion fastened to the main body; and a fan mechanism. The lid member is disposed to cover a plurality of heat dissipation fins from a side of respective top ends and thereby form a flow path. The fan mechanism has a fan main body that generates airflow, and a seating that holds the fan main body and attaches the fan main body to the lid member. The seating is subjected to an urging force applied from the main body to the seating, or fastened to the main body by a fastener. The cooling structure has a configuration that can suppress generation of vibration of the lid member forming the flow path.

Cooling structure and electrical apparatus

A cooling structure includes: a main body including a base, and heat dissipation fins and a protrusion that protrude from a heat dissipation surface; a lid member disposed to cover the protrusion and the fins and form a flow path; and a fan mechanism. The fan mechanism includes a vane portion, a driving portion that rotates the vane portion, and a conductive wire for supplying electric power to the driving portion. The protrusion includes a first through hole, and the base includes a second through hole communicating with the first through hole. The conductive wire includes a first portion connected to the driving portion and disposed between the lid member and the main body, and a second portion continuing from the first portion and inserted in the first through hole and the second through hole. The cooling structure enables enhancement of the heat dissipation and shielding performance.

A blower apparatus includes an impeller and a casing that accommodates the impeller. The casing includes an upper wall including an intake port, a lower wall, a side wall that includes an exhaust port, and a tongue portion connected to the upper wall. The side wall includes a first side wall, and a second side wall disposed downstream in a rotational direction of the impeller relative to the first side wall via the exhaust port. The tongue portion extends from the second side wall toward the first side wall, and includes a lower portion opposed to the lower wall. The lower portion includes a first lower portion on the base end side and a second lower portion on the tip side. A distance between the first lower portion and the lower wall is shorter than a distance between the second lower portion and the lower wall.

Blower apparatus and automotive air conditioner

An impeller that rotates about a central axis extending vertically includes a base portion and blades. The base portion spreads perpendicularly to the central axis. The blades are on an upper surface of the base portion at intervals in a circumferential direction. The base portion includes an irregular portion that is radially outward and in which irregularities are repeated in the circumferential direction. The irregular portion includes one or more first irregular regions and a second irregular region. The first irregular regions include first recesses with a same shape and first projections with a same shape, the first recesses and projections being alternately arranged one by one. The second irregular region is positioned between the first irregular regions and includes at least one among a second recess with a different shape from the first recesses and a second projection with a different shape from the first projections.

Impeller, impeller blade wheel, air-blowing device, and method of manufacturing air-blowing device

A fan includes an impeller portion generating an air flow and a motor that rotates the impeller portion about a center axis. The impeller portion is attached to a yoke of a rotor portion of the motor and is rotated with the yoke. A circular portion of the impeller is attached to a bottom opening of the yoke having a cylindrical shape whose top is covered by insert molding. Therefore, the impeller and the yoke may be securely fixed to each other. In addition, an outer side surface of the yoke is exposed to outside air such that the space arranged inward from the plurality of blades may be enlarged.
