A saddle type vehicle (e.g., a motorcycle) includes first, second, and third frames and a storage member. The second frame is connected to the first frame and extends rearward from a connecting position between the second and first frames. A seat is fixed to the second frame. The third frame is connected to the first frame at a position lower than the connecting position between the second and first frames, extends rearward from the connecting position between the third and first frames, and then connected to the second frame. The storage member includes a first storage portion storing a battery and a second storage portion storing a tool casing and which is positioned below the first storage portion. In the side view, the first and second storage portions are arranged in an internal space surrounded by the first, second, and third frames. The first and second storage portions are arranged side by side in a vertical direction.

Saddle type vehicle

An improved structure for mounting a luggage basket on a vehicle body of a two-wheeled vehicle or the like is provided. Mounting portions for detachably mounting a luggage basket on any mounting place (a desired position on the vehicle body such as a pannier stay) of the vehicle body are formed on the luggage basket. The mounting portions are formed on both left and right sides of the luggage basket mounted on the vehicle body respectively. With such the configuration, one kind of the luggage basket having one same shape can be mounted on either the left side or the right side of the vehicle body. That is, it is unnecessary to prepare luggage baskets having different shapes corresponding to the left and the right sides of the vehicle body and hence, the number of parts can be reduced, and thereby a manufacturing cost can be lowered.

Structure for mounting luggage basket

A saddle vehicle includes an engine that is between a front wheel and a rear wheel and is mounted on a vehicle frame. The saddle vehicle includes: a rear fender at least partially covering the rear wheel from above; and an air cleaner between the rear fender and the engine; wherein the air cleaner is fixed to the rear fender.

A motorcycle comprises a rear wheel; a vehicle body frame including a front frame unit supporting a motor, and a rear frame unit supporting a seat; and a swing arm which is rotatably connected to the front frame unit and supports the rear wheel, wherein the rear frame unit includes: a front section which supports the seat and extends rearward from the front frame unit; a pair of right and left branch sections extending rearward from a rear end portion of the front section to be spaced apart from each other in a rightward and leftward direction; and a pair of rear sections which extend rearward from rear end portions of the pair of right and left branch sections, respectively, and are placed rightward and leftward relative to the rear wheel.

A straddle-type vehicle comprises a vehicle body frame; a main seat on which a rider is seated; a sub-seat on which a passenger is seated, the sub-seat being separate from the main seat and placed behind the main seat; a bracket which is separate from the main seat and to which the sub-seat is mountable; and a first fastening member which fastens the bracket to the vehicle body frame such that the bracket is detachable from the vehicle body frame, wherein the main seat includes a stay protruding rearward, and wherein the stay and the bracket are fastened together to the vehicle body frame by use of the first fastening member.

A vehicle comprises a fender unit which covers an upper portion of a wheel from above; and a mounting member placed inward in a vehicle width direction relative to the fender unit and including a mounting section by which an accessory component is detachably mounted to a vehicle body, wherein the fender unit includes: a first cover member which has an opening through which the mounting section of the mounting member is exposed, and covers a portion of the mounting member which is other than the mounting section, from outside in the vehicle width direction; and a second cover member which is detachably mounted to the first cover member and covers the opening.
