This exhaust gas bypass device and supercharger are provided with: an actuator () for moving a driving rod () reciprocally in the axial direction of the driving rod; a coupling rod () coupled to the tip section of the driving rod (); a support shaft () rotatably supported on a housing; a coupling link (), one end section of which is rotatably coupled to the tip section of the coupling rod () via a coupling shaft () and the other end section of which is fixed to the one end section of the support shaft (); a waste gate valve () coupled to the other end section of the support shaft (); and a damping member for damping displacement between the coupling rod () and the coupling link (), whereby reliability is improved by ensuring desirable operative characteristics.
