Regardless of the production method applied, it is possible for a user to estimate a factor that causes trouble in one of the resources belonging to a resource type. A supporting system refers to management information indicating a production past record of the production system, and displays an overlay chart in which a diagram chart is relatively superimposed on a Gantt chart. The Gantt chart is a chart for a first resource type and has a resource axis and a time axis. The diagram chart is for a second resource type. In the overlay chart, a polygonal line connecting a plurality of points corresponding to a second resource, belonging to the second resource type, is on the Gantt chart, and each point is plotted at a position corresponding to an execution time of a step and a first resource, belonging to the first resource type, related to the step.

System and method for supporting production management

The production management support system analyzes, on the basis of one or more attentional perspectives on a plurality of different models of products, past record information that includes information as a past record which shows, for each product loaded in a production system in which the plurality of different models of products are loaded and a sequential order of two or more of a plurality of steps is different depending on the model, an execution time of each of the steps and that serves as a basis for a production management chart showing a production situation, to detect, among display objects displayed in the production management chart, a display object satisfying one or more requirements associated with the one or more attentional perspectives. The system performs accentuated display on at least one of the detected display objects.

As a plurality of resource types relating to production, there are two or more resource types including Money from among resource types of Man, Machine, Material, and Money. Execution past record information indicates, for each of one or more resource types other than Money and for each resource belonging to the resource type, a step performed on the resource and an execution time block of the step. Expense information indicates, for at least one of the above-mentioned one or more resource types and for each resource belonging to the resource type, an expense relating to the resource. The system displays a cost chart based on the result of the cost calculation process. The cost chart shows costs in management unit same as or different from those of the steps, and has a time axis and a management unit axis (axis perpendicular to the time axis).

A support system displays, on the basis of management information as a past record which shows, for each product loaded in a production system in which a plurality of different models of products are loaded and a sequential order of two or more of a plurality of steps is different depending on the model, an execution time of each of the steps, at least one of a first holistic chart (having a time axis and showing a feature value of production situation of the product during a display target period on a per predetermined unit basis) and a second holistic chart (showing a relationship between a plurality of steps with respect to a flow of a plurality of models of products). The support system selects at least one of a model and a step for one of the holistic charts, and displays step element information.

In order to narrow down base stations within the tracking-area-based paging area to ones within a smaller area where the mobile unit may exist in a mobile communication system performing the paging on the tracking-area basis, the mobile communication system has a location registration information database memorizing tracking area information, a last location registration information and a N-th (N is an integer of one or more) location registration information from the last for each mobile unit, calculates statistical data on a movement distance for each mobile unit based on the location registration information memorized in the location registration information database, and performs the paging via base stations included both within an area whose radius is equal to the calculated statistical data on the movement distance and within the tracking area.

Paging-area determination method and call-processing control apparatus in mobile communication system

A wireless communication system including a wireless terminal, a plurality of base stations and a call processing control unit is disclosed. The wireless terminal, upon reception of the notification information from any of the base stations, judges whether the area included in the notification information is contained in the location registration area list stored in a storage unit, and in the case where the particular area is not so contained, sends a location registration request to the call processing control unit. On the other hand, the call processing control unit creates a new location registration area list based on the area included in the notification information and the neighboring areas, and sends the location registration area list to the wireless terminal thereby to execute the paging process.

Wireless communication system

A wireless communication system including a wireless terminal, a plurality of base stations and a call processing control unit is disclosed. The wireless terminal, upon reception of the notification information from any of the base stations, judges whether the area included in the notification information is contained in the location registration area list stored in a storage unit, and in the case where the particular area is not so contained, sends a location registration request to the call processing control unit. On the other hand, the call processing control unit creates a new location registration area list based on the area included in the notification information and the neighboring areas, and sends the location registration area list to the wireless terminal.

A call processing control apparatus automatically detects that a lot of handover and location registration simultaneously occur, and notifies a monitor control server. The monitor control server receiving the notification from the call processing control apparatus transmits a TAI change request to a base station so that a tracking area identity (TAI) of a movement destination cell where congestion occurs and a tracking area identity of a movement origin cell have the same value. The base station receiving the TAI change request message from the monitor control server changes its own TAI value. After that, all mobile devices perform only handover when they move between the cells where the TAI values are changed, and does not perform location registration.
