An isolation amplifier of an embodiment includes: a primary circuit including an encoder configured to encode an input signal and output the encoded input signal and an anomaly detection circuit configured to detect anomaly having occurred to the input signal and generate a detection signal; an isolation unit configured to insulate the primary circuit from a secondary circuit; an output circuit configured to generate an output signal corresponding to the input signal; and an anomaly-input sensing-output circuit configured to generate an output signal from the secondary circuit by changing the output signal from the output circuit based on the detection signal.

A distance measuring device includes a calculating section configured to calculate, based on phase information acquired by a first device and a second device, at least one of which is movable, a distance between the first device and the second device. The first device includes a first reference signal source and a first transceiver configured to transmit two or more first carrier signals and receives two or more second carrier signals using an output of the first reference signal source. The second device includes a second reference signal source configured to operate independently from the first reference signal source and a second transceiver configured to transmit the second carrier signals and receives the first carrier signals using an output of the second reference signal source. The calculating section calculates the distance based on a phase detection result obtained by reception of the first and second carrier signals.

According to one embodiment, a driver circuit includes an output transistor where a main current path is connected between a voltage supply terminal and a voltage output end and which supplies an output current to the voltage output end, a drive circuit that outputs a drive signal, a variable resistance connected between an output terminal of the drive circuit and a gate of the output transistor, a current detection circuit that detects a current flowing through the output transistor, and a control circuit that changes a value of the variable resistance in response to an output signal of the current detection circuit.

According to one embodiment, a sound corrector includes a signal outputter, a response signal, a frequency specifier, a coefficient specifier, a filter, and an outputter. The signal outputter outputs a measurement signal to measure acoustical properties of an object to be measured. The response signal receiver receives a response signal from the object in response to the measurement signal. The frequency specifier specifies a resonant frequency at a resonance peak from the response signal. The coefficient specifier specifies a correction coefficient of a correction filter for reducing the resonant frequency based on the specified resonant frequency. The filter performs filtering on a signal to be output to the object using the correction filter with the correction coefficient. The outputter outputs the signal having undergone the filtering to the object.

According to one embodiment, a sound processor includes a creating module, a filter, and a combining module. The creating module creates a plurality of first acoustic models based on a frequency characteristic that represents an acoustic property of an object to be measured. The first acoustic models are modeled with respect to resonance properties that vary depending on frequency bands. The filter extracts frequency components in the frequency bands from the respective first acoustic models. The combining module combines the frequency components extracted from the first acoustic models to create a second acoustic model.

According to one embodiment, an acoustic apparatus comprises a measuring signal generator, a transducer configured to convert a measuring signal to a measuring sound and to convert a characteristic vibration of the transducer due to the measuring sound, to a characteristic vibration signal, an analysis module configured to analyze the characteristic vibration signal in order to output a physical quality of a characteristic vibration of the transducer, a controller configured to set a first state in which the transducer converts an electric signal to an acoustic signal or a second state in which the transducer converts an acoustic signal to an electric signal. The measuring signal generator is connected to the transducer in the first state and the analysis module is connected to the transducer in the second state.

According to one embodiment, a threshold adjusting apparatus for a clocked comparator, the clocked comparator comparing an input signal with a threshold in accordance with a clock, the threshold adjusting apparatus comprises an output detection module configured to detect an output from the clocked comparator with the threshold while changing the threshold and a setting module configured to set the threshold when the output detection module detects a change in the output from the clocked comparator as an adjusted threshold.

Demodulator

According to one embodiment, an ASK demodulator includes a rectifier, a first low-pass filter, a second low-pass filter, a comparator, and a threshold controller. The rectifier rectifies an ASK signal. The first low-pass filter outputs a signal corresponding to an envelope curve output from the rectifier. The second low-pass filter outputs an integrated signal of the signal output from the first low-pass filter. The comparator detects an output logic in accordance with comparison between the signal output from the first low-pass filter and a threshold obtained by adding a predetermined hysteresis width to the integrated signal output from the second low-pass filter. The threshold controller controls the threshold by setting the predetermined hysteresis width based on a direct current offset voltage caused by element dispersions of the comparator.

According to one embodiment, an infrared signal decode circuit includes: a comparator; a correlation signal generator generating a sum of a first detection signal and a second detection signal as a correlation signal, the first detection signal being obtained by performing an absolute value calculation on a first correlation signal, the second detection signal being obtained by performing an absolute value calculation on a second correlation signal, the first correlation signal corresponding to a correlation between a binary signal and a first reference signal with a frequency substantially identical to a base frequency of a subcarrier of an infrared signal, the second correlation signal corresponding to a correlation between the binary signal and a second reference signal with a phase that differ from a phase of the first reference signal by 90 degrees; and a decoder binarizing the correlation signal generated by the correlation signal generator.
