In a permanent magnet type rotating electric machine comprising a stator of which concentratedly wound armature windings are disposed in a plurality of slots formed in a stator core so as to surround teeth and a rotor accommodating permanent magnets in a plurality of permanent magnet insertion holes formed in a rotor core, a part of outer circumferential faces of slots is formed to extend substantially in parallel with a part of inner circumferential faces of the teeth, thereby, a permanent magnet type rotating electric machine with limited noises can be realized.

An electric power supply device , combining an overload protector device and a starter device each other, and an equipment using thereof comprises a socket terminal connected to an electric part of the overload protector device , and a convex portion opposing to a tip opening portion of the socket terminal , which is nearly in conformity with the shape of that tip opening portion and has a little gap therebetween, wherein while keeping superiority in work of assembling external apparatuses onto the terminal pins, prying force caused onto the tip opening portion when the socket terminals of the starter device are fitted onto terminal pins of an external equipment is suppressed, thereby to improve reliability.

In a rotary piston compressor and refrigerating equipment employing the rotary piston compressor, the interior of a cylinder chamber is divided into a suction chamber and a compression chamber by a vane which is formed unitarily with a roller. The rotary bushing on the compression chamber side which supports the vane is so arranged as to be moved with a specific pressure, so that a communicating passage for communication between the compression chamber and a space on the discharge side will be opened and closed with the movement of the rotary bushing on the compression chamber side.

A closed type motor-driven compressor includes a motor accommodated in a closed container and a compression mechanism connected through a crank shaft to the motor. A shielding member having a cylindrical portion substantially concentric with the axis of the compression mechanism is disposed between the motor and the compression mechanism. This shielding member defines a shielding air space between the motor and the compression mechanism for preventing a permeation of a lubricating oil. An inlet of a discharge pipe of the closed type motor-driven compressor is positioned inwardly of this shielding air space.

An overload protective device to the disposed in an electric circuit serving to supply current to a load has a pair of fixed contacts provided inside of a case and an inversible disk-like bimetal of a curved shape having a pair of movable contacts capable of coming in contact with the fixed contacts, respectively. A shaft is fixed to the case at one end thereof and formed with a head portion at the free end portion. The shaft extends though a hole formed in the central portion of the bimetal. When the bimetal breaks, a circuit breaker breaks the electric circuit permanently to thereby prevent the load and the overload protective device from being burnt out.
