A coil component includes a winding core section. A first flange section and a second flange section are disposed on a first end and a second end of the winding core section in the axial direction, respectively. A second terminal electrode is disposed on the first flange section on a second end side in a first direction perpendicular to the axial direction. A fourth terminal electrode is disposed on the second flange section on a second end side in the first direction. When in a portion of the second wire wound around the winding core section, a single round nearest an end connected to the fourth terminal electrode is defined as the Nth turn, at least two turns of the wire closer to the second flange section than the Nth turn of the second wire in the axial direction are present.

Coil component

Heat is less likely to transfer from a terminal electrode to a wire. A coil component includes a core, a first terminal electrode provided on a first flange of the core, a winding portion wound around a winding core of the core, and a first wire having a first end. The first end of the first wire is electrically connected to the first terminal electrode. A part of the first end is spaced apart from the first terminal electrode.

A coil component includes a terminal electrode and a terminal of a wire connected by thermocompression bonding on a bottom surface of a flange portion, to achieve a strong fixing force without the terminal of the wire protruding from the terminal electrode. A terminal of a wire extends along a main surface of a terminal electrode while at least a part of the terminal is disposed in the terminal electrode, and has a top surface positioned on a side opposite to a bottom surface side of a flange portion with respect to the main surface. A fillet surface which rises from the main surface toward the top surface and forms a concave curved surface is on an outer surface of the terminal electrode. The main surface is configured by a solder wettable layer made of tin or a tin alloy as an outermost layer of the terminal electrode.

A coil component comprises a first wire including a winding portion wound around a winding core portion of a core, a first end portion electrically connected to a terminal electrode provided in a first flange portion, and a first extended portion connecting the winding portion and the first end portion. In a first direction, the first end portion is positioned on a first side with respect to a central axis of the winding core portion, and a first boundary portion which is a boundary portion between the first extended portion and the winding portion is positioned on a second side with respect to the central axis. A corner of the winding core portion is positioned between the first boundary portion and the first end portion in a circumferential direction. A gap is interposed between the first extended portion and the corner.

Coil component and manufacturing method of coil component

In a coil component, a first wire has a part that extends in a spiral shape along a peripheral surface of a winding core part with a central axis being the axis of rotation. A second wire has a part that extends in a spiral shape outside the peripheral surface of the winding core in a radial direction centered on the central axis with the central axis being the axis of rotation. The second wire includes an outer part and an inner part. The inner part extends continuously along the peripheral surface of the winding core part in a spiral shape through a range greater than 360 degrees. The outer part extends in a spiral shape outside the inner part in a radial direction centered on the central axis. The inner part is located between the L-th turn and the (L+1)-th turn of the first wire.

A coil component includes a drum core that includes a winding core portion and a pair of flange portions formed at the ends of the winding core portion, electrodes that are included in the pair of flange portions, and first and second wires that are wound around the winding core portion and that include extended portions electrically connected to the electrodes. The flange portions are continuous with the winding core portion and have slopes that guide the extended portions to the electrodes.

Common-mode choke coil

A flange portion includes a projecting surface that is positioned in a leading end of a projection projecting toward a mounting substrate and that faces the mounting substrate, and a principal surface that extends in a direction crossing the projecting surface and that faces a direction in which the pair of flange portions are aligned. A metal terminal includes a mounting portion opposed to the projecting surface and an end surface portion opposed to the principal surface. An angle &#x3b8; between the mounting portion and the end surface portion satisfies the relationship 85 degrees&#x2264;&#x3b8;&#x3c;90 degrees. The angle &#x3b8; between the mounting portion and the end surface portion is smaller than an angle &#x3b8;1 between the projecting surface and the principal surface.

A 0.5-displacement region in which a first wire and a second wire are displaced by 0.5 turns from each other, and a 1.5-displacement region in which the first wire and the second wire are displaced by 1.5 turns in an opposite direction to a 0.5-displacement region are distributed along an axis direction on a winding core portion. The sum of the number of turns of the second wire located in the 0.5-displacement region being twice or more and five times or less than the sum of the number of turns of the second wire located in the 1.5-displacement region.

A common mode choke coil includes a core having a winding core part and a first and second wire wound around the winding core part. The winding core part has a first winding region, a switching region and second winding regions in this order along the axis of the winding core part. In the first winding region, each turn of the first wire is located closer to a first end portion of the winding core part than the corresponding same-numbered turn of the second wire. In the second winding region, each turn of the first wire is located closer to a second end portion of the winding core part than the corresponding same-numbered turn of the second wire. The number of turns of the first and second wires in the first winding region differs from the number of turns of the first and second wires in the second winding region.

Common mode choke coil

A vibrating gyroscope having a vibratable body in the form of a triangular prism, piezoelectric elements formed on side surfaces of the vibrating body and having the same vibration characteristics and a detection circuit having two input terminals connected to two of the piezoelectric elements to detect the difference between the outputs from the two piezoelectric elements, the two detection piezoelectric elements being selected such that the difference between their outputs with respect to a change in ambient atmosphere temperature is the smallest.

Vibrating gyroscope

A vibrating gyroscope having a supporting structure of a vibrator including, for example, a substantially regular triangular prism-shaped vibrating body. The vibrating body is formed with materials generally generating a mechanical vibration such as a constant-elastic materials. On three side faces of the vibrating body, three piezoelectric elements are formed respectively. On a ridge-line portion of the vicinity of two nodal points of the vibrating body, for example, a substantially rectangular frame-shaped supporting member is secured. The supporting member is formed into a body by means of etching or press molding. In this case, long sides of the supporting member are formed so as to extend in an axial direction of the vibrating body. Short sides of the supporting member are bonded to the vibrating body by securing means such as welding, adhesives or soldering.
