A valve member of a pressure relief valve has a shaft portion, a pressure receiving portion, and a guide portion, wherein the valve member is axially movable in a fuel return passage. When a forward end of the shaft portion is seated on a valve seta, the fuel return passage is closed, while the shaft portion is separated from the valve seat the fuel return passage is opened. A notched portion is formed at an outer wall of the guide portion to thereby form an outer-surface passage. A fuel inlet port is formed in the valve member for communicating a fuel inlet chamber to the fuel return passage at a downstream side of the valve member.

Pressure relief valve and high pressure pump with such valve

In an electromagnetic valve, a valve member is slidably installed in a housing to open and close a valve hole. A moving core is slidably installed in the housing, and a coil generates a magnetomotive force to attract the moving core to one side when it is energized. The valve shaft links a motion of the moving core with a motion of the valve member. A bellows surrounds the valve shaft to form a cylindrical inner space between the valve shaft and itself. The bellows is subjected to both positive and negative pressures to extend and shrink in accordance with the motions of the valve member and the moving core. An inner volume of the inner space increasing and decreasing in accordance with extending and shrinking operations of the cylindrical bellows portion. The opening of the bellows and the valve shaft form a narrow opening passage.

Electromagnetic valve

An object such as an electromagnetic valve is resiliently mounted (or in a floating manner) on a mounting base such as an intake manifold of an internal combustion engine. A valve port of the electromagnetic valve is connected to a connecting hole of the intake manifold via an O-ring, and a stay connected to the electromagnetic valve is coupled to a bolt via a resilient member such as a grommet. The bolt is rotated to be fastened to the intake manifold by screwing. A rod portion of the bolt is inserted into a hole of the grommet. Projections and depressions such as grooves extending along the rotational direction of the rod portion are formed on the inner surface of the grommet hole to reduce a contacting area and abrasion force between the grommet and the rod portion. In this manner, deformation of the grommet caused by rotation of the rod portion is suppressed.

Mounting structure for suppressing vibration

A manufacturing method for an actuator including a casing and a housing. The method includes setting a metallic ring in a molding die; injection molding a first flange portion of the casing using one annular hooking piece of the metallic ring as a part of a surface of the molding die so as to outsert-mold the metallic ring on a molded surface of the first flange portion, the molded surface being opposite to a first connecting end surface of the first flange portion; engaging the first flange portion with a second flange portion of the housing so as to be opposed to each other; and applying force to bend the metallic ring to form an other annular hooking piece, thereby crimping and fixing the first connecting end surface of the casing with a second connecting end surface of the housing.

Method of manufacturing an actuator

A fluid control valve has: a housing in which a fluid passage is formed; a valve seat in which a fluid flow hole is formed to be communicated with the fluid passage; and a valve that is formed from rubber elastic body. At least a part of the housing is formed from resin. The valve has a valve seal portion and is installed in the housing to be able to close the fluid flow hole. In a valve-closing time, the valve seal portion is seated on the valve seat. The valve seal portion is coated by a thin diamond-like carbon coating having hardness between Hv 50 and Hv 500 in Vickers hardness.

Fluid control valve

A mounting structure for mounting accessories on a designed interior member in a vehicle compartment includes a plurality of mounting portions. Each of the mounting portions includes a non-contact type power sending terminal and a vehicle-side antenna. The mounting portion transmits power from the battery of the vehicle via the non-contact type power sending terminal, and further transmits a multiplex signal that includes all the control signals required for controlling a plurality of accessories via the vehicle-side antenna. A user can mount an accessory arbitrarily selected from the plurality of accessories on any of the mounting portions without newly installing the required wiring, and therefore readily replace the accessories mounted on the mounting portions.

Mounting structure including communication system for transmitting multiplex control signal to vehicle electrical devices

Markers each comprising an electromagnetic coil are installed on the surface of a road at a lateral center line of a running lane of the road at predetermined intervals. Provided for each of the markers, a driving signal generating circuit drives the associated marker so that the marker transmits an alternating current magnetic field. Alternating current magnetic field receiving devices each comprising an electromagnetic coil are installed on the front bumper of a vehicle at positions symmetrical with respect to the lateral center line of the vehicle. While the vehicle is running, the alternating current magnetic field receiving devices sequentially receive the alternating current magnetic fields generated by the markers one field after another. A microcomputer receives detection voltages generated by the alternating current magnetic field receiving devices through detection circuits and determines the lateral position of the vehicle from the detection voltages.
