A connector (A) includes a main body () with a wire pull-out surface () through which wires () are pulled out and a wire cover () mounted on the main body (). The wire cover () includes a back plate () and two covering portions () projecting from opposite ends of the back plate () to face each other and cover the wires () from opposite sides. The covering portions () have an opening () configured to expose parts of the wires () when viewed in the facing direction at a position overlapping a formation area of the wire pull-out surface (). A mounting portion () extends from an edge of the opening () to the back plate () and is configured such that a binding band () for fixing the wires () is mounted thereon.

A connector (A) is provided with a housing () including a tube () and a seal () to be fit in the tube () in a liquid-tight manner. A holder () has a peripheral wall () fit externally on the tube () and a rear wall () configured to prevent the seal () from coming out backward. A wire cover () is mounted on the housing () by being fit externally on the peripheral wall () when the wire cover () is arranged to cover wires () pulled out from the holder () and the peripheral wall () is disposed in a proper posture on the tube (). However, the wire cover () interferes with the holder () and cannot be mounted on the housing () when the peripheral wall () is in an improper posture inclined with respect to the tube ().

Connector

A connector (A) includes a housing (), a seal member () to be arranged in a rear part of the housing (), a holder () configured to prevent the seal () from coming out backward by being mounted on the housingfrom behind the seal () and a wire cover () to be mounted on the housing () from behind the holder (). The housing () includes an erroneous mounting preventing portion () configured to regulate the mounting of the holder () by interfering with the holder () when the holder () is mounted in an improper posture. The erroneous mounting preventing portion is configured as a cover lock () for fixing the wire cover () to the housing () by locking the wire cover ().

A lever-type connector has a female housing (F) with a tubular fitting () that includes a lever accommodating portion () for accommodating a lever () and an inner regulating wall () on a side opposite to the lever accommodating portion (). A male housing (M) has a receptacle () with an outer regulating wall () facing the inner regulating wall (), and has a supporting wall () facing the lever accommodating portion (). A cam follower () and a regulating protrusion () are formed on an outer surface of the supporting wall () and can contact the lever () by being inserted into an opening () of the lever accommodating portion (). Contact of the regulating protrusion () and the lever () regulates inclination of the housings (F, M) in the process of rotating the lever ().

A lever-type connector has tubular fitting () with an outer regulating wall () on a side opposite to a lever accommodating portion () across a terminal accommodating portion (). A receptacle () includes an inner regulating wall () arranged along the outer regulating wall () and a facing wall () arranged along the lever accommodating portion () and facing the inner regulating wall (). Regulating protrusions () are formed on an inner surface of the inner regulating wall (). Posture inclination between a female housing (F) and a male housing (M) is regulated by contact of a tip outer edge (E) of the inner regulating wall () and an inner surface of the outer regulating wall () and by the contact of a tip outer edge (E) of the terminal accommodating portion () and the regulating protrusions ().

Lever-type connector

A connector has a slider () with a base () extending along a width direction and to be inserted below a lock arm (). Two arms () project from opposite widthwise ends of the base (). A coupling () couples projecting end parts of the arms () and faces an upper surface side of the lock arm (). A deflectable initial position holding portion () is provided on the base () and is configured to regulate a movement of the slider () to a connection position by resiliently locking an initial position holding receiving portion () of a housing main body () at an initial position. A connection position holding portion () is provided on the coupling () and is configured to regulate a detachment of the slider () by contacting a connection position holding receiving portion () of the lock arm () at the connection position.

A connector is provided with a first housing including a plurality of cavities and a passage hole, a rubber plug having a plurality of sealing holes through which wires are insertable in a liquid tight manner is mounted in the first housing. A second housing is connected to the first housing and includes a wrench preventing portion configured to regulate the connection of the second housing in an inclined posture to the first housing by being inserted into the passage hole at the time of the connection. The rubber plug includes an insertion hole which is expanded by the insertion of a tip part of the wrench preventing portion inserted through the passage hole at the time of the connection and applies a compression force to the sealing holes in a direction to be in closer contact with the wires when being expanded.

A connector includes a first housing () with a terminal accommodating portion () surrounded by a peripheral wall (), a second housing () connectable to the first housing (), and a detector () to detect a connected state of the housings () based on whether the detector () moves from an initial position to a detection position in a space between the terminal accommodating portion () and the peripheral wall (). An opening () extends circumferentially in a part of the peripheral wall () and exposes the detector (). Deformation regulating portions () are formed on the peripheral wall () and the detector member () and permit movements of the detector () between the initial position and the detection position and regulate deformation of the peripheral wall () to enlarge an opening width of the opening () by being fit to each other.

A lever-type connector includes a housing () connectable to a mating housing, and a lever () mounted on the housing () rotatably between an initial position and a connection position. The housing () includes a fixing portion () to be fixed to a fixing surface () and reinforcing portions () integrally coupled to the fixing portion () and configured to reinforce the fixing portion (). The reinforcing portions () additionally have a function as a stopper for regulating the rotation of the lever () in a direction opposite to a direction toward the connection position by contact with the lever () at the initial position.

A lever () is supported on a first housing () for rotation between an initial position and a connection position. A resiliently deflectable holding arm () is formed on a main body () of the lever () and is configured to be locked to the first housing () for holding the lever () at the initial position so that the lever () does not rotate toward the connection position (connecting direction B). The holding arm () is formed with a regulating projection (). The main body () is formed with a stopper () configured to regulate a displacement in a hold releasing direction A of separating the holding arm () from the first housing () by locking the regulating projection () when the main body portion () is displaced in the connecting direction B with the holding arm () locked to the first housing ().

A retainer () is formed from a body () and extended portions (). The body () includes two deflectable legs () and the legs () include locking claws () to be held onto a male connector housing () at a partial locking position and locking protrusions () to be locked to the male terminal fittings (). A pushing surface () of the retainer () is extended in a front-back direction by the extended portions (). A posture correcting portion () is formed between the legs () and fits into a cut recess () of a partition wall () to be locked therein when the retainer () is at a full locking position, thereby restricting an oblique posture of the retainer ().

A connector includes a housing (), terminal fittings () to be inserted into the housing (), a retainer () configured to retain the terminal fittings () by being mounted into the housing () in a direction intersecting an inserting direction of the terminal fittings (), resilient locks () formed on a base end of the retainer () in a mounting direction into the housing () and configured to hold the retainer () in a state mounted in the housing () by being locked to the housing (). Slide-contact portions () formed on a tip side of the retainer () in the mounting direction into the housing () and extending parallel to the mounting direction of the retainer (), and guides () formed in the housing, extending parallel to the mounting direction of the retainer () and to be brought into sliding contact with the slide-contact portions ().

A connector includes a housing () into which terminal fittings () are accommodated and a housing-side lock (). A wire cover () is mounted on the housing () to cover wires () pulled out from the housing (). The wire cover () includes a cover-side lock () at a position to be lockable to the housing-side lock () in a mounted state and is held on the housing () by being locked to the cover-side lock () after the housing-side lock () is resiliently deformed. A restricting member () is inserted into a deflection space for the housing-side lock () to restrict the deflection of the housing-side lock () when the cover-side lock () and the housing-side lock () are in a locked state.

Terminal fittings () connected to end parts of wires () are inserted into cavities () of a housing (). A seal () is arranged on a rear surface side of the housing (), and a holder () is arranged on a rear side of the seal (). A wire cover () is arranged rotatably from an open position to a closed position on a rear side of the holder (). The wire cover () includes cover-side rotation center portions (). The holder () includes holder-side rotation center portions () configured to support the cover-side rotation center portions () and constituting a center of rotation of the wire cover ().

A female connector (F) includes a retainer () to be housed into a mounting hole () and selectively mounted, in a housing (), at a partial locking position for allowing insertion of terminal fittings () and a full locking position for locking already inserted terminal fittings (). A base () is at a rear end of the retainer () in a mounting direction into the housing () and is located outside a mounting hole () when the retainer () is at the partial locking position. Backlash eliminating portions () are formed on the base () and in the housing () and are configured to restrict a relative displacement of the retainer () with respect to the housing () when the retainer () is at the partial locking position.
