A utilization unit has a power source configured to receive electric power supplied from a power source system and supplies operating electric power. At least one of the first cut-off valve or the second cut-off valve is an external cut-off valve provided outside the utilization unit. The external cut-off valve is driven using the operating electric power supplied from the power source.

Air conditioner and cut-off valve

An electronic expansion valve includes a valve body, a valve seat, and a stepping motor. A valve portion is formed at a forward end of the valve body. The valve seat forms a variable throttle portion between the valve portion and the valve seat by allowing the valve body to move in an axial direction. The stepping motor moves the valve portion in accordance with a pulse number. At least one part of a side surface of the valve portion is shaped so that an opening degree ratio becomes constant.

Electronic expansion valve, and air conditioner

An electronic expansion valve is provided that allows an air conditioner to control air conditioning in accordance with a valve opening point of the electronic expansion valve. Also, an air conditioner is provided that is capable of controlling air conditioning on the basis of the valve opening point of the electronic expansion valve. The electronic expansion valve is provided with a barcode corresponding to property data of the electronic expansion valve. The property data include a pulse number corresponding to a valve opening point that was measured in the process of manufacturing the electronic expansion valve. The valve opening point is set on the basis of the pulse number of a stepper motor when the flow rate of a gas flowing through a valve hole of the electronic expansion valve is equal to a set value.
