A monitoring lens apparatus is provided and includes a fixed cylinder, a first lens frame provided at an inner portion of the fixed cylinder and movable in an optical axis direction, a second lens frame provided at the inner portion of the fixed cylinder and movable in the optical axis direction, a first ring provided rotatably to the fixed cylinder and provided with a cam groove for driving the first lens frame, a second ring provided rotatably to the fixed cylinder on an object side of the first ring and provided with a cam groove for driving the second lens frame, and an extended portion provided integrally with the first ring and extended to the object side to cover an outer periphery of the second ring.

Monitoring lens apparatus and monitoring camera

A tilt of a light beam to be radiated onto an information recording disk is corrected without using a dedicated tilt sensor. The correction is performed based on the characteristic that an offset amount between a tilt amount maximizing an RF signal amplitude and a further tilt amount maximizing an LPP signal amplitude is constant and independent of positions on the same disk. A pre-pit signal indicative of an existence/nonexistence of a pre-pit formed on the disk is produced from returned light of the light beam, while an RF signal is produced from bits of information recorded on the disk on the basis of the returned light. An optimum tilt-correcting amount is decided by making use of a relationship between the pre-pit signal and the RF signal at a particular tilt amount. The tilt amount is corrected using the optimum tilt-correcting amount.

Method and apparatus for correcting tilt of light beam to optical recording medium

In the zoom lens apparatus, a lens frame for a variable-magnification lens or a correcting lens is configured of an inner frame and an outer frame, and any focus blurring due to variations in wavelength of subject light can be compensated for accurately by shifting the inner frame holding the lens relative to the outer frame. The correcting lens frame for the correcting lens is configured of the inner frame and the outer frame, and the inner frame is shifted according to variations in wavelength of subject light. Any focus blurring can be thereby compensated for steplessly according to variations in wavelength of subject light.

A lens barrel having inner and outer cam rings which are configured to rotate relatively each other so as to shift one or more lens element of a lens system installed therein is equipped with an axial movement restraint mechanism for restraining axial play of one of the two cylindrical barrels relative to the other of the two cylindrical barrels while allowing relative rotation between them, the axial movement restraint mechanism comprising a radial jaw or a radial flange formed integrally with one of the inner and outer cam rings and a peripheral groove formed on another cam ring for receiving the jaw or the flanges and, if necessary, a spring disposed between the inner and outer cam rings for forcing the inner and outer cam rings in opposite axial directions, respectively.

Lens barrel

A heating element (IC, transistor or the like) is placed on a printed circuit board and silicon grease is coated on the surface of the printed circuit board side of the heating element. The projection portion of a radiator with a step portion is inserted into the through hole of the printed circuit board and closely contacted with the lower portion of the heating element through the silicon grease. As a result, heat generated from the heating element is transferred to the projection portion of the radiator through the silicon grease and then transferred to the entirety of the radiator. Excessive silicon grease is collected in a step portion provided at the base of the projection portion of the radiator and prevented from leaking to other portion such as a portion on the board.

An interlock ring is provided to transmit a rotational force of a casing of a lens unit to a attachment ring, and contact faces of a projection of the attachment ring and a projection of the interlock ring are slant. Thereby, the stress is prevented from concentrating at the base corners of the projections. Thus, the projections can be prevented from breaking due to over-fastening.

To use a zoom lens mechanism in visible light, a switch is turned off. By force of a spring, a cam pin of a correction lens is contacted with a first edge of a cam groove which is formed to have a shape which corrects a focal inadequacy resulting from a movement of a variable magnification lens in visible light. Accordingly, the movement of the correction lens is controlled by the first edge. To use the zoom lens mechanism in near infrared light, the switch is turned on. By magnetic force of an electromagnet, the cam pin is contacted with a second edge of the cam groove which is formed to have a shape which corrects the focal inadequacy resulting from the movement of the variable magnification lens in near infrared light. Accordingly, the movement of the correction lens is controlled by the second edge.

Zoom lens with differential focal compensation for visible, IR, and UV

A motor-driven type exposure adjusting device, such as a diaphragm-shutter device, adapted for a lens incorporating camera, an interchangeable lens, or the like. In the adjusting device, a rotary member has an optical path hole formed in a central portion thereof and is arranged to control the opening and closing actions of a plurality of light shielding blades. A stepping motor servers as a drive source for the rotation of the roatary member and is disposed outside of the optical path hole, and an aperture position detecting means detects a boundary between a given maximum aperture position defined by the light shielding blades and a stopped-down aperture position of the optical path hole. The aperture position of the optical path hole is detected through the rotating angle position of a rotary wheel to which the rotation output of the rotor shaft of the stepping motor is transmitted.

Motor driven exposure adjusting device

A diaphragm control device for use in an interchangeable lens of a single lens reflex camera. A motor for driving diaphragm blades includes a coil, a rotor, and a stator which are arranged in a diaphragm device comprising a ring-shaped disc with diaphragm blades that open and close an optical path hole provided in a central portion thereof. The rotor and stator are disposed on the surface of a ring-shaped disc between the periphery of the opening and the outer periphery of the diaphragm device. The shaft of the rotor, the coil, and the stator are positioned in parallel with the axis of the opening, and the rotor and the coil are arranged in a parallel arcuate row on the surface of the ring-shaped disc. The present invention provides a diaphragm device which, when installed in the lens barrel, has reduced size and makes it possible to drive the diaphragm blades with high torque.

Diaphragm control device for interchangeable lens

A motor comprises a rotor made of a permanent magnet and pairs of yokes having pairs of magnetic pole parts arranged round the circumference of the rotor. The rotor is arranged to be pivotally carried by a bearing part disposed at one end of the yoke. A position detecting element which detects the magnetic pole position of the rotor is carried by the yoke. An exciting coil is wound round each pair of the yokes.

Motor

A recording-reproducing apparatus, comprising first and second holding members and support member for supporting said first and second holding members, and for permitting said first holding member to move towards and away from said second holding member. The first holding member holds on one side thereof, a container member for containing a recording medium therein, and on an opposite side thereof, an adjusting member for adjusting the position of the recording medium. The second holding member holds a driving member for driving the recording medium. The apparatus also includes resilient means for pressing said container member against the one side of said first holding means in a position wherein said first holding means is spaced apart from said second holding means, and for permitting said container member to move towards the opposite side of said first holding means to enable said adjusting member to bear against the recording medium when said first holding means is proximate to said second holding means and recording-reproducing means for effecting recording and reproducing of information on the recording medium.

A magnetic medium feeding apparatus comprises a guide or a pressing member so biased as to keep the feeding load of magnetic medium substantially constant and also to apply a pressure to the magnetic medium through the guide or the pressing member so that a very smooth feeding of the magnetic medium may be assured in either case of automatic feed (by driving force of a motor or the like) and hand feed. The feeding apparatus for magnetic medium allows to smoothly feed various magnetic media different in thickness.

The device for conveying a card used for a card reader of this invention includes a part for inserting the card into the reader, a path for guiding the inserted card in a predetermined direction, means for transferring the card along with the guiding path, the transferring means being provided on the guiding path, means for driving the transferring means and means for cleaning the card, the cleaning means being provided between said inserting part and the card transfer means near to the inserting part.
