An electronic device includes a device body, a touch panel which having a front side and a reverse side, a vibration unit that is disposed on the reverse side and vibrates the touch panel, and a flexible member that is disposed on an inside and on the reverse side of the touch panel, the flexible member connecting the device body and the reverse side of the touch panel in a watertight manner and being flexibly deformed upon vibration of the touch panel.

An electronic device includes a first casing rotatably supported by a first rotation axis, a second casing rotatably supported by a second rotation axis that is parallel to the first rotation axis, a first cam that is provided on the first rotation axis, rotates about the first rotation axis in accordance with rotation of the first casing, and causes the first casing to move together with the first rotation axis in a direction away from the second rotation axis, a second cam that is provided on the second rotation axis, rotates about the second rotation axis in accordance with rotation of the second casing, and causes the second casing to move together with the second rotation axis in a direction away from the first rotation axis, and an elastic member that applies a force in a direction in which the first rotation axis and the second rotation axis become closer.

An electronic apparatus includes a first housing, a second housing and a coupling portion movably coupling the first housing and the second housing to each other. The first housing includes a guide groove formed in a surface of the first housing facing the second housing that restricts a direction of movement of the first housing and the second housing with respect to each other. The guide groove includes a bottom portion. The coupling portion includes a coupling main body fixed to a surface of the second housing facing the first housing, a guide pin protruding from the coupling main body so as to be able to advance and retreat within the guide groove and including a tip portion, the tip portion being housed in the guide groove, and an urging member urging the guide pin toward the bottom portion of the guide groove.

Coupling of housings of an electronic apparatus

A portable device including: a housing including a bottom wall section and a frame-shaped peripheral wall section provided on the bottom wall section; a pressure-sensitive touch panel including a bonding section and a contact section, the bonding section being bonded to the peripheral wall section and the contact section being surrounded by the housing and positioned inside from the bonding section; and a control board that is electrically connected to the touch panel through the contact section.

Portable device

An antenna shaft of an antenna is first inserted through a shaft through-hole created on a lateral plate casing of a stationary-side front case. Then, a flange on the antenna shaft is screw-fixed in a screw hole created at a predetermined position on the lateral plate casing of the stationary-side front case. When the antenna shaft of the antenna is inserted through the shaft through-hole created on the lateral plate casing, an inserted tip of the antenna shaft abuts against a substantially V-shaped connection receiving unit, which is fixed on a circuit board in the stationary-side front case. As a result, an electric connection is established between the antenna and the circuit board.

Mobile terminal device

A pair of side keys disposed on a lateral plate casing of a stationary-side rear case in a cellular phone is coupled with a film sheet that is fabricated in a substantially identical length to the length of the pair of side keys. The pair of side keys is coupled with the film sheet by applying double-faced adhesive tapes having adhesive faces on both sides only to both ends of the film sheet.

Handheld device

A waterproof electronic appliance has a casing including a bottom panel, a top panel, and a side wall which is divided into an upright wall adjacent to the bottom panel and a vertical wall adjacent to the top panel. A first double-sided adhesive tape is adhered on a top end surface of the upright wall. A second double-sided adhesive tape is adhered on a bottom end surface of the vertical wall. A cable including signal lines and a tube covering the signal lines, extends from inside to outside of the casing through the upright wall and the vertical wall. The first and second double-sided adhesive tapes adhere to an outer surface of the tube sandwiched between the upright wall and the vertical wall, and the adhesive tapes adhere to each other in an area adjacent to the sandwiched tube.

Waterproof electronic appliance

A hinge module includes a first hinge part; and a second hinge part confronting the first hinge part. The first hinge part includes a slot; and an annular groove surrounding the slot and formed in a recessed shape in relation to the second hinge part, and an annular gasket inserted into the annular groove and projecting to the second hinge part side. The second hinge part includes a cylindrical projection non-removably inserted into the slot while freely moveable in a longitudinal direction of the slot; and a sliding surface formed around periphery of the cylindrical projection and on which the gasket slides.

The movable case unit is supported rotatably on the movable arm, and the rotation center of the movable case unit is set at a position near the hinge to be on or near the centerline of the movable case unit.

The present invention relates to an electronic apparatus including a housing unit of which the angle can be varied by a rotation mechanism and is directed to improve the fixation precision of the housing unit that can be fixed at predetermined angles. The apparatus includes a supporting frame unit (movable arm unit), a rotation supporting unit (rotating module) installed on the supporting frame unit, a housing unit (movable housing unit) that is fixed on the rotation supporting unit and can be rotated by the rotation supporting unit, and a rotation locking mechanism that is installed away from the center of rotation of the rotation supporting unit and, when the housing unit is rotated to a predetermined angle, holds the supporting frame unit and the housing unit in a locked state.

Electronic apparatus having rotating display housing

In a cellular phone, a light guiding plate, which linearly guides light emitted by a plurality of light emitting elements (LEDs), and an LED display unit, which displays predetermined LED displays, are laminatedly arranged in a movable-side housing. A slit formed in the substantially central portion of the light guiding plate partitions the light guiding plate into a first light guiding region and a second light guiding region. A first light emitting group of the light emitting elements emits light to the first light guiding region and a second light emitting group of the light emitting elements emits light to the second light guiding region. The first light guiding region and the second light guiding region are illuminated alternately by alternately switching ON the first light emitting group and the second light emitting group.

The present invention relates to a cable wiring structure of an electronic apparatus that has such a movable unit as an opening/closing unit and a rotary unit. The cable wiring structure is provided to suppress the wearing of a cable to improve the durability of the cable, and to offer other advantages. The cable wiring structure applies to an electronic apparatus having movable units (hinge mechanism, rotation mechanism). The cable according to the structure has an extra length portion, which gives the cable a length necessary for the cable, for example, to pass through the movable units, and which is housed in a cable housing unit. The cable housing unit is formed on the electronic apparatus, where the cable housing unit arranges the extra length portion in a sinuous form and allows a shift in the extra length portion caused by a move of the movable unit.

The present invention provides a display module having: a display board on which a display element displaying an image is mounted; and a chassis on which the display board is mounted and which is placed on a circuit board. The chassis has a support board and a frame plate. The support board includes: a support section which supports a portion of the display board except for a corner section of the display board; and a depressed section which continuously expands from the support section and is formed such that a surface on a side supporting the display board is lower than the support section. The frame plate is placed on the circuit board while supporting the support board at a predetermined height with respect to the circuit board.

The present invention relates to a portable apparatus such as a mobile phone or a notebook type personal computer, an object of which is to improve the durability of a flexible flat cable without lowering the degree of freedom of a curled portion thereof and prevent the same from being locally worn. This portable apparatus includes a first housing having a printed board module, a second housing coupled at one end thereof with the first housing via a hinge mechanism and having a printed board module, a flexible flat cable connected at one end thereof with the printed board module in the first housing and at the other end thereof with the printed board module in the second housing, while being at least once curled at a position corresponding to the hinge mechanism, and an insert member to be inserted into the curled portion of the flexible flat cable. This insert member is not fixed to either the first housing or the second housing but the movement thereof is restricted.
