A protective portion is provided on a lower surface of a sound reproducing device, and has a protective wall that restrains a deformation of a terminal in a direction different from an elastic deformation direction of the terminal. The terminal includes a restrained portion in which the deformation is restrained with the protective wall. The restrained portion is provided at at least one of a position closer to a base than a feeding portion of the terminal and a position closer to a tip portion of the terminal than the feeding portion. The protective wall extends along the restrained portion. This configuration can suppress a plastic deformation of the terminal even when a force in the direction different from the elastic deformation of the terminal is applied to the terminal.

An edge () for supporting a diaphragm assembly () with respect to a frame () is bonded to the frame () along the outer periphery thereof and joined to a diaphragm () in a position more peripherally inward than a voice coil () along the inner periphery thereof. An information terminal device includes a main body case, a rectangular video display unit provided on the front side of the main body case, and a plurality of audio output units disposed at a specified angle relative to the video display unit which are formed in any one of rectangular, elliptical and track shape. The plurality of audio output units are disposed symmetrically about the center line of the video display unit, and a longer side of the outer shape of each audio output unit is disposed closely to one of the mutually opposing longer sides, or one of the mutually opposing shorter sides of the video display unit.

An electro-acoustic transducer wherein a stopper of a terminal is composed of an elastic body having an impulsive-force resistance and an excellent resilience. The stopper is mounted on the yoke or lower plate of magnetic circuit, which is made of a metallic material having an impulsive-force resistance. In this way, the stopper can restrict the terminal within the reversibility limit value of the spring force of the metallic material, and hence can enhance the reliability.

A portable communication terminal employs an electro-acoustic transducer having openings on the housing. The openings of the transducer are coupled to a housing of the terminal or acoustic pipes unitarily formed with the housing of the transducer. An opening of the acoustic pipe faces an opening provided in the housing of the terminal. The terminal uses a transducer including a diaphragm, a cover closely jointed to an outer periphery of the diaphragm and facing a front face of the diaphragm, and a frame provided at a rear face of the diaphragm. The terminal and the transducer consume less power and yet radiate greater output sound pressure with smaller bodies. They can deliver sound from a display section, so that a user accepts the sound normally.
