A vehicle charging system includes a second fitting body. The second fitting body includes a projection-side electrode holding unit which includes a projection, the projection holding a second electrode member and projecting in a facing direction, and an elastic body which supports the projection-side electrode holding unit in the facing direction and is elastically deformable in a compression direction which is one direction of the facing direction. The elastic body moves the projection-side electrode holding unit in the compression direction from an initial position by being compressed by a load in the compression direction applied to the projection-side electrode holding unit and moves the projection-side electrode holding unit to the initial position by being restored when the load is removed.

Vehicle charging system

In a joining method of an electric wire, an end of a first conductor is held by a holding surface of a first jig electrode from an outer circumference side and an end of a second conductor is held by a holding surface of a second jig electrode from an outer circumference side to butt and join the ends of the first conductor and the second conductor in the axial direction while heating the ends. Then, a melted material is bulged outward from an outer circumferential surface of a joining portion to a bulge molding portion formed to surround a joining portion of the ends of the first conductor and the second conductor.

Joining method of electric wires

A method of manufacturing a terminal-formed electric wire includes a welding member placing process in which at least one welding member formed of metal having a melting point lower than that of a plurality of metal strands included in a core wire is arranged to the core wire of at least a terminal-forming target portion of the electric wire, and a terminal forming process in which the exposed terminal-forming target portion is interposed between first and second electrodes having a shape corresponding to a desired terminal shape, at least the welding member in the terminal-forming target portion is melted by electrically conducting the first and second electrodes while pressing the terminal-forming target portion with the first and second electrodes, and the melted metal is then solidified, so that the terminal-forming target portion is formed as a terminal portion having a desired terminal shape.

Method of manufacturing terminal-formed electric wire

A lever-fitting type connector includes a lever configured to linearly perform a relative movement with respect to a terminal accommodation member when lever operational force in a straight direction is input, a first guide mechanism configured to convert lever input acting along a lever operation direction that is exerted from the lever on the terminal accommodation member, into force in a connector insertion-removal direction orthogonal to the lever operation direction, and to guide a relative movement between the terminal accommodation member and the lever while performing conversion of a direction of the force, and a second guide mechanism that is a screw mechanism that can exert axial force acting along the lever operation direction, on the lever, and is configured to relatively move the lever with respect to the electrically-connected target object while guiding in the lever operation direction.

Lever-fitting type connector

The present invention is to provide a connector seal allowing an accurate inspection of presence of an incorrectly formed bore in a terminal insertion bore of the connector seal. A connector seal includes a seal main body and a plurality of terminal insertion bores. Each terminal insertion bore has an upper membrane potion and a lower membrane portion, which are spaced one another and interconnected together with a lamella. Preferably, the terminal insertion bore has a membrane, which includes a substantially curved groove and a substantially curved lamella. Preferably, the terminal insertion bore has a membrane which includes a lamella, the lamella being oriented in a direction coincident with a diagonal line of a rectangular cross-section of a terminal so that corners of the terminal hit opposite ends of the lamella.

Rear-cover attachment structure

A through-panel connector, comprising a female connector () and a male connector disposed on one side and the other side of panel () and fitted to each other through a mounting hole () formed in the panel (). The female connector () comprises a plurality of flexible holding ribs (). Through-panel connector

A lever-fit connector, wherein a rotation prevention lock () preventing a lever () from being rotated when male and female connector housing are fitted (joined) to each other is installed in the inner wall (A) of a lever insert hole () in a female housing (). A rotation lock recessed part () in which the rotation lock part (D) of the rotation prevention lock () is engageably stored is formed in the peripheral surface of the lever (). The angle of the rotation lock part (D) is set so that the rotation lock part (D) is drawn to the lever () side in excessive rotation by bringing the rotation lock part (D) into contact with the side wall surface (B) of the rotation lock recessed part ().

A method of determining the acceptability of a press contact of a wire between press contact blades of a terminal. The method includes the steps of storing a reference data of a relationship between displacements of the press contact blades when the wire is brought into press contact with a normal press contact terminal and contact loads between the press contact blades and the core wire; inserting the wire between the press contact blades of the press contact terminal as an object to be inspected; measuring the displacement of the press contact blades caused by the insertion of the wire; and determining the acceptability of the press contact terminal as the object to be inspected by predicting the contact loads between the press contact blades of the press contact terminal as the object to be inspected based on the measured displacements and the reference data.

Method of determining the acceptability of the press contacting of a terminal using reference data

Providing a connector system, which can detect securely connection of connector housings, the connector system includes a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a first connector housing, on an outer surface of which a lock projection and a pair of electrodes are provided. The second connector includes a second connector housing having a main body, a lock arm and a shorting member. The lock arm supported by the main body is engaged with the lock projection. One end portion of the shorting member is mounted on the main body, and the other end is formed like a free end of a cantilever. The other end has a contact point. When the connector housings are fitted together, the contact point and lock projection are arranged in a direction perpendicular to a fitting direction.

Connector

A terminal fitting is provided, by which the terminal fitting can be securely connected electrically to an electric wire. A pressure-welding terminal as the terminal fitting has a wire connecting part, to which an electric wire is press-fit. The electric wire includes an electrically conductive core wire and an insulating coating. The wire connecting part includes a bottom wall, and first and second pressure-welding members, each of which has a pair of pressure-welding blades arising from the bottom wall. A projection is formed on an end of an inner edge of the blade near to the bottom wall.
