A water distillation system including a reservoir unit configured to reserve a second liquid of higher concentration than the first liquid; a pipe including a first end communicated with the first liquid and a second end communicated with the second liquid in the reservoir unit; a semipermeable membrane fitted on the pipe to separate the first liquid and the second liquid, so that the first liquid is mixed into the second liquid through the semipermeable membrane and led to the reservoir unit by osmotic action; and a distillation unit configured to distill the second liquid in the reservoir unit by solar energy.

Water distillation system

Breather mechanism includes a breather passage opening into a crankcase, a breather chamber communicating with the crankcase via the breather passage, and a valve provided in the breather chamber and openable to allow blow-by gas to flow from the crankcase into the breather chamber once inner pressure of the crankcase exceeds a predetermined value. When the engine is placed in a laterally laid-down position, entry, into the breather chamber, of lubricating oil is prevented by the breather passage. When the engine is placed in a vertically upright position, an outlet end portion of the breather passage is located above an inlet end portion of the breather passage.

Engine equipped with breather mechanism

A gas fuel supply apparatus is constructed to be capable of supplying any one of propane gas and butane gas to a gas engine while switching between the propane gas and the butane gas. A check valve is provided in a gas fuel supply passages corresponding to a gas canister containing the gas fuel of a low working pressure (propane gas). The check valve prevents the gas fuel of a higher working pressure (butane gas) from flowing from a downstream side of the check valve to an upstream side of the check valve.

Gas fuel supply apparatus

A gas fuel supply apparatus includes: first and second mouthpiece attachment sections capable of detachably attaching thereto mouthpieces of first and second gas containers and provided in communication with each other; and first and second check valves provided in a communication passage, communicating between the mouthpiece attachment sections, in corresponding relation to the first and second gas containers. The first and second check valves prevent a gas fuel, let out from any one of the first and second gas containers, from flowing into the other of the gas containers.

In a cylinder head lubricating structure for an engine, in which a breather passage which guides, toward a cylinder head, gas including oil mist generated in a crank chamber by oil splashing means housed in the crank chamber so as to splash-oil in accordance with rotation of a crankshaft is formed in a crankcase, a cylinder block and the cylinder head to supply, toward the cylinder head, lubricating oil through the breather passage, a breather chamber with which an end portion, on the crank chamber side, of the breather passage communicates is formed in the crankcase, and a one-way valve preventing backflow of the oil toward the crank chamber is attached to the crankcase to be located between the crank chamber and the breather chamber. Accordingly, it is possible to supply a sufficient amount of oil to the cylinder head side even when the head difference between the crank chamber and the cylinder head is large.

Cylinder head lubricating structure for engine

In a working 4-cycle engine including a crankcase, a cylinder block inclined with respect to the crankcase, and an oil pan located in a lower portion of the crankcase. An auxiliary oil tank is disposed below the cylinder block in the direction of inclination of the cylinder block. The auxiliary oil tank communicates with the inside of the oil pan and normally assumes a position higher than the level of oil stored in the oil pan. However, when the engine is tilted down in the direction of inclination of the cylinder block, the oil stored in the oil pan flows into and is accumulated in the auxiliary oil tank. Thus, even if the engine is tilted down in the direction of inclination of the cylinder block, the oil stored in the oil pan is prevented from flowing into the cylinder.

Working 4-cycle engine

In a rammer powered by an internal combustion engine, the engine is placed on a side of an upper part of a rammer main body with its crankshaft extending in parallel with the handle bar of the rammer, and the cylinder axis of the engine slanted sideways so that the overall height of the rammer may be controlled even when a relatively large engine is employed. The engine is mounted on the rammer main body so that the center of gravity of the engine is on the axial center line of the rammer main body as projected on a plane perpendicular to the crankshaft. Therefore, a relatively large engine can be used without destroying the balance of the rammer, and the rammer, therefore, would not produce any tendency to tilt during use. Thus, the rammer is easy and comfortable to handle even when a relatively large engine is mounted thereof.
