A door handle that has an elongated shape and is mounted onto a vehicle door in a state where a longitudinal direction thereof is aligned with a vehicle front-and-rear direction, the door handle includes: a front part and a rear part each of which has a connection surface to be connected to the vehicle door; and a grip part provided between the front part and the rear part, wherein a rear end of the front part protrudes outward in the longitudinal direction more than the front end thereof on the connection surface of the front part, and a curvature radius of a protruding portion of the rear end of the front part on the connection surface of the front part is R4 or less.

Imaging and image reconstruction are sequentially performed for slices of a subject, and realtime images of the slices are displayed substantially at the same time. The slices may be perpendicular or parallel to one another, or they may form a stereoscopic pair. The images may be displayed two-dimensionally, or they may be combined and displayed three-dimensionally. One of the slices includes an insertion (a needle) for puncture or biopsy that is inserted into the subject by an operator, and it is parallel with a direction in which the insertion should advance. If the needle is displaced from the slice and a shade of the needle disappears from the sequentially-displayed images of the slice while the operator moves the needle toward an affected part in the subject in IVR, the shade of the needle appears on the sequentially-displayed images of another slice that is perpendicularly intersecting to or is adjacent and parallel to the above-mentioned slice. Hence, the operator can always determine the position and advancing direction of the needle.

A computer-implemented method and system for diagnosing and system for diagnosing and analyzing fault information of a product is carried out by (a) creating a fault tree representing causal relations between faults and causes thereof base on information of past faults and information concerning the structure and characteristics of the product, and storing the fault tree in a storage unit, the fault tree having branches allocated with weighting coefficients; (b) inputting new fault information of the product into the computer; (c) searching the fault tree in accordance with the weighting coefficients based on the fault information stored in the storage unit to thereby determine the cause of the fault; (d) generating and outputting information concerning an adjustment or repair of the product suffering from the fault based on the determined cause of the fault as well as the information concerning the structure and the characteristics of the product; (e) supplying information concerning the timing of the occurrence of the fault, symptoms appearing in the fault, the cause of the fault and the adjustment and repair data to a host computer through a data collecting station to thereby construct a database for the fault information; and (f) the quality of the product based on all or a part of information of the database.

A magnetic field generating apparatus for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus, including soft ferrite disposed adjacently to a gradient magnetic field coil which is disposed in a gap and serves to form a static magnetic field. The magnetic field generating apparatus thus constructed has a magnetic circuit arrangement that a pair of permanent magnetic bodies which are disposed so as to confront each other and define the gap are magnetically connected through a yoke, and pole pieces are fixedly secured to the surfaces of the respective permanent magnetic bodies facing the gap, thereby generating the magnetic field in the gap.

In an ionization chamber detector of the type in which a plurality of flat anode and cathode electrodes are alternately arranged in a predetermined gaseous medium, this invention provides a method of producing an ionization chamber detector which is characterized in that a plurality of ditches having a width a little bit greater than the thickness of the electrodes are formed on the inner surfaces of a pair of insulators disposed in the spaced-apart relation for supporting and fixing the anode and cathode electrodes, an adhesive is applied in advance temporarily in a rectangular form to both or one surface of each electrode at those positions which are set back by a distance corresponding to the thickness of the electrodes from both edge portions, another adhesive having a low viscosity is charged from the end portions of the ditches into the gaps between the electrodes and the ditch walls after the electrodes are inserted into the ditches, and the tentative adhesive and the adhesive having a low viscosity are then cured integrally in order to firmly bond and fix the electrodes into the ditches. This method can keep the distance between the electrodes highly accurate and can bond and fix reliably and stably the electrodes into the ditches.
