The object of the present invention is to provide a pharmaceutical composition that inhibits expression of iNOS and COX-2 without inhibiting NF-&#x3ba;B. The pharmaceutical composition that inhibits expression of iNOS and COX-2 without inhibiting NF-&#x3ba;B contains DTCM glutarimide of the Formula (I) as an effective ingredient, thereby being able to inhibit nitric oxide (NO) production and prostaglandin production.

Outer diameters of upper and lower flanges of a reel are formed equal to each other irrespective of a diameter of a hub, and a cylindrical wall having the same inner diameter as the hub of the reel having the small diameter hub is provided in the reel having the large diameter hub. Thereby, there is provided a low-capacity type recording tape cartridge, in which other parts can be used both as the reel having the small diameter hub and the reel having the large diameter hub only by changing the reels and a displaced angle of a recording tape does not vary with respect to a case sidewall of a leader member.

A magnetic tape cassette in which a mechanism for engaging a guard panel with a lower cassette half is simplified, the assembly process thereof is highly efficient, and the cassette is produced inexpensively and with excellent productivity. The magnetic tape cassette is constructed such that an engagement hole is formed on the inner surface of a side wall of a guard panel, and an engagement piece is formed on a side of the casette case and defined by a U-shaped slit so as to flex about a proximal end in the left and right directions relative to the cassette case. A locked state releasing projection and an engagement projection extend from the engagement piece. The engagement projection is engaged with the engagement hole when the guard is closed. The locked state releasing projection extends beyond the side wall of the guard panel and is used for releasing the engagement projection from the engagement hole. In another embodiment, the engagement projection is formed on a side wall of the cassette case, without the U-shaped slit, for engagement with the engagement hole. The engagement projection is removed from the engagement hole with a shift rod of a conventional tape deck.

Magnetic tape cassette having a rocking guard panel

A magnetic tape cassette includes a slider fitted slidably along a bottom of a cassette case, as well as resiliently locking pieces formed in the bottom of the cassette case along the bottom in a cantilevered fashion and each having a head at a free end thereof for fitting in an engaging hole in the slider so as to retain the slider. Each of the resiliently locking pieces has a compression coil spring provided between the head 12a and an upper half 11a of the cassette case to maintain a resilient force for the head in a thickness-wise direction of the cassette. When the head is pushed into the cassette case by more than a predetermined amount, coils of the compression coil spring are set in a state of close contact with each other in a compressing direction of the spring so as to support the head from an inward direction of the cassette and positionally restrict the displacement of the resiliently locking piece in the inward direction of the cassette.

Magnetic tape cassette having improved slider lock

A mass flowmeter has a U-shaped sensor tube provided on a support base which is supported on a vibration absorbing member, and both ends of the sensor tube are respectively connected to an inlet and an outlet of a manifold. Vibrators are provided at an intermediate part of each straight tube part provided between the inlet and outlet sides of the sensor tube. Pickups are provided on the upstream and downstream sides of each vibrator so as to detect the displacement of the sensor tube. An external vibration is in an opposite direction between the inlet and outlet sides relative to the vibrating direction. Hence, outputs of the pickups located on the upstream sides of the vibrators are added, and outputs of the pickups located on the downstream sides of the vibrators are added. The external vibration is cancelled by obtaining a phase difference of the two added values.

Mass flowmeter

A cassette casing for a magnetic tape cassette has a casing body and a slider member mounted for sliding motion between a closed position and an open position. The slider member has a pair of guide grooves formed on the outer surface thereof remote from the casing body and extending from a first end of the cassette casing toward the other end, each of the guide grooves having first and second engaging holes which are formed on the bottom of the guide groove to extend through the slider member and open to the inner surface of the same and are spaced from each other in the longitudinal direction of the guide groove. The casing body is provided with a pair of locking projections each of which is resiliently urged toward one of the guide grooves from the inner surface of the slider member and is adapted to be selectively engaged with the first and second engaging holes so that its tip portion projects into the guide groove. The locking projections is disengaged from the engaging holes by a pair of lock release projections which are provided on a surface of a cassette deck and slide along the guide grooves when the magnetic tape cassette is loaded in the cassette deck. The outer surface of the slider member which is opposed to the surface of the cassette deck on which the lock release projections are provided is cut obliquely at each side edge portion thereof from a portion close to the guide groove on the outer side thereof to the side edge.

Magnetic tape cassette

A magnetic tape cassette casing is formed of upper and lower cassette halves each of which has a rear wall portion extending in the direction of thickness of the casing. The cassette halves are mated together with the top surfaces of the rear wall portions thereof abutting against each other. The cassette casing is provided with a hole defined by recesses formed in the top surfaces of the rear wall portions of the cassette halves substantially at the center between the left and right side ends. The hole is 0.04 to 1.0 mm in width and 2 to 20 mm in length.

Magnetic tape cassette casing

A vortex flowmeter comprising ultrasonic wave transmitters and ultrasonic wave receivers adapted to receive ultrasonic waves transmitted by the transmitters through a flow of fluid in which vortices are generated by a vortex generator, the ultrasonic wave signals output by the ultrasonic wave receivers being compared by a phase comparator to measure the flow rate of the fluid by detecting the difference in phase of the ultrasonic waves due to generation of the vortices. First and second ultrasonic wave transmitters are disposed on the wall of a pipe line defining the flow path for the fluid downstream of the vortex generator and first and second ultrasonic wave receivers are respectively disposed at positions on the wall of the pipe line opposite to the first and second transmitters and in such a manner that the first propagation route for the ultrasonic waves propagating from the first ultrasonic wave transmitter to the first ultrasonic wave receiver and the second propagation route for ultrasonic waves propagating from the second ultrasonic wave transmitter to the second ultrasonic wave receiver intersect each other and extend in opposite directions. The phase of the respective ultrasonic wave signals output by the first and second ultrasonic wave receivers are compared by a phase comparator so that the vortices generated by the vortex generator can be detected.

Vortex flowmeter

A vortex shedding flowmeter comprises a flow passage through which a fluid flows, a bluff body arranged in the flow passage for generating Karman vortex of the fluid and provided with a pair of holes which open to respective side surfaces of the bluff body and extend toward and penetrate through one end of the bluff body for introducing a pressure change caused by the Karman vortex, a body which is an independent member from the bluff body, a pair of detecting parts provided in the body and comprising a pair of recesses provided on the body, a pair of fixed electrodes and a pair of movable electrodes provided in the recesses with a predetermined distance therebetween, a communicating hole provided in the body for communicating a pair of spaces formed between the fixed and movable electrodes, and a sealed fluid sealed in the spaces and the communicating hole, where the movable electrodes are displaced responsive to the pressure change in the fluid introduced from the bluff body and received by surfaces of the variable electrodes opposite to surfaces in contact with the sealed fluid and the fixed and movable electrodes constitute a pair of variable capacitors, and a detecting circuit for generating an electrical output responsive to changes in capacitances of the variable capacitors.
