A chemical-liquid injection head including a syringe holding unit which holds a syringe in which a piston member is slidably inserted into a cylinder member having a circular cylindrical shape, a piston driving mechanism having a ram member for moving the piston member of the syringe, and a first light emitting portion which emits light with a first color and illuminates the syringe and a second light emitting portion which emits light with a second color and illuminates the syringe. The first light emitting portion and the second light emitting portion, viewed in a posture at the time of use of the injection head, are provided at an upper side of the ram member.

The opening/closing unit drive mechanism includes an opening/closing unit holder which detachably holds an opening/closing unit which includes a housing having flow channels and a piston for opening and closing the flow channels which is movably provided to the housing, a hook to be engaged with the piston of the opening/closing unit, which is disposed leaving a space from the opening/closing unit holder, and a linear motion mechanism which moves the hook back and forth. A chemical liquid injector that can easily set various injection conditions according to a region and an objective to be imaged. The chemical liquid injector includes two piston driving mechanisms for operating syringes filled with a first chemical liquid and a second chemical liquid, respectively, an input unit for receiving an input of a data, and an injection control unit for controlling an operation of the piston driving mechanisms. The injection control unit is set with a multistage injection mode in which injection operations are performed in a plurality of injection phases. In the multistage injection mode, the injection control unit is configured to receive the input of the mixing rate of the first chemical liquid and the second chemical liquid for each of the plurality of injection phases, set injection conditions of the first chemical liquid and the second chemical liquid so that the first chemical liquid and the second chemical liquid are injected at the received mixing rate, and control the operation of the driving mechanisms according to the set injection condition.
