Protruding portions protruding in a direction of approaching a disc rotor are integrally formed in a locking plate portion of a pad spring. Moreover, an insulating resin coating is formed on a front surface side (surface in a region opposed to an outer peripheral surface of the disc rotor) of the locking plate portion. The coating film formed on the front surface of the locking plate portion flows downward by its own weight before the coating material is solidified. As a result, the coating film formed on bottom surfaces (front surfaces of protrusions) of the protruding portions is thinner in film thickness than that of the coating film in other region.

Pad spring and disc brake

A disc brake including: a piston; a cylinder including a bore portion, which movably accommodates the piston, and a step portion formed on an opening end side of the bore portion; and a piston boot arranged between a tip side of the piston and a small diameter step portion of the cylinder. The piston boot includes: a large diameter annular fitting portion containing an annular metal member so as to be fitted to the small diameter step portion; a bellows portion, which extends from the large diameter fitting portion, is increased in its diameter from the large diameter fitting portion to an outer peripheral side, and is also deformed and extended from the large diameter fitting portion toward an inner peripheral side; and a small diameter fitting portion formed at an end portion of the bellows portion so as to fit to an outer periphery of the piston.

Disc brake and piston boot

This disc brake includes a cylinder bore into which a piston is fitted, a seal groove provided in the cylinder bore as an annular groove, and a seal member which has a rectangular cross section shape and which is fitted into the seal groove and seal a space between the piston and the cylinder bore. The seal groove includes a bottom surface portion, a side surface portion, and a chamfered portion. The chamfered portion is formed to expand an opening of the seal groove in the axial direction of the cylinder bore and has two types of curvature radii (rand r).

Disc brake

A fuel nozzle device () for injecting liquid fuel into a combustion chamber () of a gas turbine engine () includes an outer tube (), a rear end wall () closing a base end of the outer tube, a tapered conical tube () defining a first air passage () therein, and a second air passage () having an annular cross section jointly with the outer tube, a fuel passage () axially passed through the rear end wall, and leading to a fuel ejection port () directed toward an inner circumferential surface of a base end of the conical tube, a first air introduction passage () passed through the outer tube to communicate with the first air passage, and a second air introduction passage () passed through the outer tube to communicate with the second air passage.

Fuel nozzle device for gas turbine engine

A radially biasing portion () of a pad spring () includes a first extending portion (A) extending from a lower surface plate (B) of a guide plate portion () outwardly in a disc axial direction, a curled portion (B) folded on a distal end side of the first extending portion, and a second extending portion (C) extending from the curled portion in a direction approaching a disc (), the second extending portion with which an ear portion (A) of a friction pad () comes into contact. A contact portion () extends from the second extending portion of the radially biasing portion () toward a middle of the friction pad in a disc rotational direction of the friction pad. The contact portion comes into surface contact with a contacted surface (B) as a lateral surface of the friction pad (backing plate) in the disc rotational direction.

Provided is a method for manufacturing an optical element from glass after polishing and in which either or both of a cleaning liquid used in a cleaning step for the glass after polishing and a rinsing liquid used in a rinsing step after the cleaning step are a liquid that inhibits expansion of cracked parts present on the surface of the glass after polishing.

A return spring () made of a metal plate, for biasing a friction pad () in a return direction of separating away from a disc () is arranged between the friction pad () and a mounting member (). The return spring () includes a fixed portion (), which is on a base end side fixed to an ear portion (B) of a back plate () of the friction pad (). Then, an abutment portion (), which is on a distal end side of the return spring (), is elastically brought into abutment on an abutment plate portion (D) of a pad spring (), which is on the mounting member () side at a position on an outer side in a disc radial direction relative to the fixed portion ().

A fuel injector includes: a pilot injector configured to spray fuel so as to form a first combustion region in a combustion chamber; and a main injector provided coaxially with the pilot injector so as to surround the pilot injector and configured to supply a fuel-air mixture that is a mixture of the fuel and air to form a second combustion region in the combustion chamber, wherein the main injector includes: a first inflow channel through which the air having a major flow component in an axial direction is taken; a second inflow channel through which the air having a major flow component in a radial direction is taken and which causes the air therein to meet the air from the first inflow channel; and a main fuel injecting portion configured to inject the fuel only to the second inflow channel.

A return spring is provided between a friction pad and a mount member. The return spring biases the friction pad in a return direction for separating the friction pad from the disk, and is made of a metallic plate. The return spring includes a fixation portion on a proximal end side thereof, and the fixation portion is fixed to an ear portion of a back plate of the friction pad. The return spring includes an abutment portion, and the abutment portion is in elastic abutment with an abutment plate portion of a pad spring, which corresponds to a mount member side, on an outer side in a disk radial direction relative to the fixation portion. The pad spring includes a guide portion extending in a disk axial direction and supporting a side surface of an intermediate portion of the return spring.

A fuel injector includes: a pilot injector configured to spray fuel so as to form a first combustion region in a combustion chamber; and a main injector provided coaxially with the pilot injector so as to surround the pilot injector and configured to supply a fuel-air mixture that is a mixture of the fuel and air to form a second combustion region in the combustion chamber, wherein the pilot injector includes: a center nozzle configured to eject air jet flowing straight in an axial direction on a central axis of the pilot injector; an inside swirler provided on a radially outer side of the center nozzle and configured to cause inflow air to swirl around the central axis; and a pilot fuel injecting portion configured to inject the fuel from between the center nozzle and the inside swirler to air flow in the center nozzle.

A disc brake that suppresses braking noises when a vehicle moves backward include an urging spring urging a friction pad toward a rotationally exiting side of a disc when the vehicle moves forward, the urging spring being arranged between a hook portion of the friction pad and a torque receiving portion of a carrier. The urging spring formed through bend of an elastic plate material has its spring constant that is set to be a small value to avoid resonance frequency causing noise where the base end side thereof is fixed to the hook portion of the backing plate while the top end side thereof elastically abuts to the torque receiving portion of the carrier. The urging spring is located at the position that is outside in the radial direction from the center position of the hook portion in its width direction.

Provided is a disc brake capable of preventing large positional shift of a position of abutment of a return spring against a mounting member, which occurs with wear of a friction pad and the like. The return spring for biasing the friction pad in a direction away from a disc includes a fixed portion on one side, which is fixedly mounted to the friction pad, an extending portion extending from the fixed portion in an axial direction of the disc and in a direction away from the friction pad, a turned-back portion formed by turning back a distal end side of the extending portion toward the mounting member, and an abutting portion provided on a distal end side of the turned-back portion so as to be elastically brought into abutment against a side of the mounting member. A portion (bent portion) of the turned-back portion, which is formed by bending the turned-back portion at the middle thereof, is located at a position separated farther away from the fixed portion than the abutting portion in a disc rotating direction.

There is provided a disk brake comprising: a mounting member axially extending over a disk periphery, the mounting member including a pad guide where a friction pad travels; a caliper; and a return spring between the friction pad and the mounting member and urges the friction pad into a return direction separating from the disk, wherein the return spring includes: a first extended portion where a base end side thereof is fixed to a back plate of the friction pad while a top end side thereof extends separating from the disk; and a second extended portion folded from the top end side of the first extended portion toward the mounting member, a top of the second extended portion extending to elastically abut to the side of the mounting member, and a plate thickness direction of the first extended portion extends to be approximately a radial direction of the disk.

A fuel reformer burner in which fuel gas and anode-off-gas (AOG) may be burned and backfire may be prevented during combustion of AOG includes a fuel supply portion, an anode-off-gas (AOG) supply portion; and a combustion air supply portion. The fuel supply portion and the AOG supply portion are arranged inside the combustion air supply portion, which is formed to extend beyond the discharge sides of the fuel supply portion and the AOG supply portion.

Fuel reformer burner of fuel cell system

A disk brake capable of improving fabrication efficiency and having a transmission member. The transmission member () includes: an anti-rotation locking portion () formed on an outer circumferential portion of the transmission member, the anti-rotation locking portion being slidably fitted into a fitting area () on a cylinder () side so as to restrict rotation relative to the cylinder; and a seal groove () formed in an inserted portion (). The seal groove stores a sealing member () for defining an internal space in the cylinder () and a cam chamber (). The anti-rotation locking portion is fitted into the fitting area () on the cylinder side before the sealing member is positioned inside a hole () when the inserted portion () of the transmission member () is inserted into the hole.
