To provide a fluororesin laminate in which a layer of a fluorinated copolymer and a layer of a propylene polymer excellent in heat resistance are strongly attached. A laminate comprising a layer which contains a fluorinated copolymer having an adhesive functional group and having monomer unit based on tetrafluoroethylene and monomer units based on ethylene, and a layer which contains a propylene polymer having an adhesive functional group.

Copolymer, method for its production, wire coating resin material and electric wire

A fluororubber molded article obtained by molding and crosslinking a cross-linkable composition comprising a fluoroelastomer (A) and a fluoroelastomer (B), wherein the fluoroelastomer (A) is a copolymer comprising tetrafluoroethylene units and perfluorovinyl ether units represented by CF&#x2550;CF&#x2014;O&#x2014;R(Ris a Cperfluoroalkyl group or a Cperfluoroalkyl group having an etheric oxygen atom between carbon atoms), the fluoroelastomer (B) is a copolymer comprising tetrafluoroethylene units, propylene units and vinylidene fluoride units, and the mass ratio of (A)/(B) is from 99/1 to 30/70.

To provide a method for recovering an acid of an anionic fluorinated emulsifier with a high yield from a basic ion exchange resin having a nonionic surfactant physically adsorbed thereon and having the anionic fluorinated emulsifier adsorbed thereon. A method for eluting and recovering an acid of an anionic fluorinated emulsifier from a basic ion exchange resin having a nonionic surfactant physically adsorbed thereon and having the anionic fluorinated emulsifier adsorbed thereon, which comprises a step (1) of bringing the basic ion exchange resin into contact with a water-soluble organic solvent and a step (2) of recovering the acid of the anionic fluorinated emulsifier from the basic ion exchange resin from which the ionic surfactant is eluted in the step (1).

Method for recovering anionic fluorinated emulsifier

Provided is an effective process for producing a fluorinated polymer excellent in adhesion, by using a polymerization medium having a low ozone layer destruction potential. The process includes polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising a fluorinated monomer and a polar functional group containing monomer (excluding one having a fluorine atom) in a polymerization medium that contains a medium compound represented by CHF&#x2014;O&#x2014;CHF, m is an integer of from 1 to 6, n is an integer of from 1 to 6, x is from 0 to (2m+1), y is from 0 to 2n, and (x+y) is at least 1), and wherein a solution obtained by dissolving the polar functional group-containing monomer in the polymerization medium is continuously or intermittently added to a polymerization reaction system.

Process for producing fluorinated polymer

Provided is a process for producing a fluorinated copolymer which is capable of providing an ion exchange membrane which can suppress a decrease in current efficiency by impurities in an aqueous alkali chloride solution as a raw material on electrolysis of the alkali chloride aqueous solution. Also provided is a process for producing a fluorinated copolymer that comprises washing a fluorinated copolymer comprising a fluorinated monomer having a carboxylic acid type functional group and a fluorinated olefin, with a washing solvent containing a fluorinated solvent at a temperature of at least 40&#xb0; C. and at most a boiling point of the washing solvent.

Process for producing fluorinated copolymer

A process for producing a fluorinated copolymer includes polymerizing a fluorinated monomer having a carboxylic acid functional group or a sulfonic acid functional group and a fluorinated olefin by a solution polymerization method in a polymerization medium to obtain a mixture containing a fluorinated copolymer, an unreacted monomer and the polymerization medium. The mixture is continuously or intermittently transferred to an evaporation vessel provided with a stirrer and heating the mixture with stirring in the evaporation vessel to evaporate and recover the unreacted monomer and the polymerization medium.

To provide a fluorinated copolymer which is capable of providing an ion exchange membrane having little adverse effect due to impurities in an alkali chloride aqueous solution on electrolysis of the alkali chloride aqueous solution. To use a fluorinated copolymer of a fluorinated monomer having a carboxylic acid type functional group with a fluorinated olefin, wherein the proportion of components having a common logarithm (log M) of a molecular weight M being from 2.0 to 3.5 is at most 10 mass % per 100 mass % of components having a common logarithm (log M) of a molecular weight M being at least 2.0, contained in a CClFCFCClFH soluble content.

Fluorinated copolymer and ion exchange membrane

A method for recovering an anionic fluorinated emulsifier comprises contacting a strongly basic ion exchange resin having an anionic fluorinated emulsifier adsorbed thereon to an aqueous inorganic acid solution and an organic solvent comprising a nitrile group. The anionic fluorinated emulsifier is eluted from the strongly basic ion exchange resin, and a liquid phase comprising an acid of the anionic fluorinated emulsifier is obtained. An acid of the anionic fluorinated emulsifier is recovered from the liquid phase. The strongly basic ion exchange resin and the liquid phase are preferably separated, after the aqueous inorganic acid solution and the organic solvent are contacted to the strongly basic ion exchange resin, and before the acid of the anionic fluorinated emulsifier is recovered from the liquid phase.

Disclosed is a resin composition comprising a melt-moldable side chain 1,2-diol-containing PVA-based resin (A), and fluororesin containing a polar functional group capable of reacting with or forming hydrogen bond(s) with hydroxyl group (B). The component (A) and the component (B) have excellent affinity, and therefore if either the component (A) or component (B) becomes matrix, the other can be finely dispersed into the matrix, thus providing a resin composition having excellent gas-barrier property, solvent resistance, and bending fatigue resistance. The present invention also provides emulsified dispersion and binder in which the resin composition is used.

Resin composition and use thereof

A process for producing a fluorinated copolymer includes polymerizing a fluorinated monomer having a carboxylic acid functional group or a sulfonic acid functional group and tetrafluoroethylene by a solution polymerization method in a polymerization medium in the presence of a polymerization initiator to obtain a mixture. The mixture contains a fluorinated copolymer, an unreacted fluorinated monomer having the carboxylic acid functional group or the sulfonic acid functional group, and the polymerization medium. The mixture is continuously or intermittently transferred to an evaporation container equipped with a stirring machine and heated in the evaporation container with stirring to evaporate and recover a mixed liquid. The mixed liquid contains the unreacted fluorinated monomer and the polymerization medium with which the polymerization initiator is mixed. The recovered mixed liquid is heated to decompose the polymerization initiator.

Provided is a treatment method for fluororesin pellets to remove hydrofluoric acid released from fluororesin pellets obtained by melt-molding a melt-moldable fluororesin. The treatment method comprises bringing a hydrofluoric acid-removing medium selected from warm water of from 30 to 200&#xb0; C., steam of from 100 to 200&#xb0; C. and warm wind of from 40 to 200&#xb0; C. into contact with fluororesin pellets obtained by melt-molding a melt-moldable fluororesin, and thereby treating the fluororesin pellets so that the amount of hydrofluoric acid released per kg of the resulting fluororesin pellets would be at most 5 &#x3bc;g as determined after the storage of the resulting fluororesin pellets at 35&#xb0; C. for 15 days.

Treatment method for fluororesin pellets

To provide a method for recovering an anionic fluorinated emulsifier, whereby an anionic fluorinated emulsifier adsorbed on a basic ion exchange resin can be simply and efficiently recovered. A mixed liquid of an aqueous inorganic acid solution, a fluorinated medium and a non-fluorinated medium, is contacted to a basic ion exchange resin having an anionic fluorinated emulsifier adsorbed thereon, to recover a liquid phase containing the fluorinated medium, or an aqueous inorganic acid solution is contacted to a basic ion exchange resin having an anionic fluorinated emulsifier adsorbed thereon, then a mixed liquid of a fluorinated medium and a non-fluorinated medium is contacted thereto, and thereafter the basic ion exchange resin and a liquid phase are separated to recover the liquid phase, whereupon from each liquid phase, an acid of the anionic fluorinated emulsifier is recovered.

To provide an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer which is excellent in heat resistance and flexibility. An ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer comprising repeating units (A) based on tetrafluoroethylene and repeating units (B) based on ethylene in a ratio of repeating units (A)/repeating units (B)=66/34 to 75/25 (molar ratio) and as an optional component, repeating units (C) based on a monomer represented by CH&#x2550;CX(CF)Y (wherein each of X and Y which are independent of each other is a hydrogen atom or a fluorine atom, and n is from 2 to 8) in an amount of from 0 to 1 mol % based on the total number of moles of the repeating units (A) based on tetrafluoroethylene and the repeating units (B) based on ethylene, and having a volume flow rate measured at 297&#xb0; C. of from 4 to 1,000 mm/sec and an elastic modulus of at most 500 MPa.
