A position measuring system includes s server and radio wave emitting stations positioned at different locations across a position measuring area. A storage device stores, for each of the plurality of radio wave emitting stations, a beacon identifier that uniquely identifies the radio wave emitting station and a first threshold time. A processor receives, from a portable device, reception information including a reception time indicating when the portable device received a signal from one of the radio wave emitting stations. The processor determines, based on the received signal strength identifier, a position of the reception station in the position measuring area. The processor determines an operation state of the radio wave emitting station corresponding to the received signal. A display device displays information indicating the determined operation state of each of the plurality of radio wave emitting stations.

In accordance with an embodiment, a positioning apparatus comprises a first interface and a processor. The first interface receives a positioning signal. The processor sets an interval for searching the positioning signal with a first interface to a first searching interval, sets the interval for searching the positioning signal to a second searching interval which is shorter than the first searching interval if it is determined that the positioning signal is received through searching in the first searching interval and uses the positioning signal received through searching in the second searching interval to specify a position of the positioning apparatus.

The positioning server includes a communication circuit through which positioning data is received, a display device, an input unit, and a controller. The user interface screen creation supporting system includes a guest-information acquiring unit, a template selecting unit, and a template presenting unit. The guest-information acquiring unit acquires guest information concerning the guests who operate the user interface screen. The template selecting unit selects, on the basis of the acquired guest information, out of a plurality of template groups stored in a predetermined storage region in advance, design templates that should be presented as selection candidates. The template presenting unit presents the design templates selected by the template selecting unit to the screen creator.

According to one embodiment, the image processing apparatus includes a printing control unit, an image reading unit, an extracting unit, a difference image extracting unit, and a determination unit. The printing control unit controls printing of a plurality of pages on one sheet of paper according to a print setting information which indicates a printing form, and printing of a code indicating the print setting information on the paper. The image reading unit read the paper. The extracting unit extracts the code from the read image. The difference image extracting unit extracts a difference image between the printed image and the read image.
