A steering wheel apparatus is disclosed. It has a steering shaft and a boss fitted onto the steering shaft. A base is mounted on the rear portion of the boss in such a manner as to be fixed with respect to the axial direction but free with respect to the rotary direction of the steering shaft. A locking disc is rotatably mounted on the outer periphery of the base. A pin holder having a plurality of through holes is mounted on the front portion of the boss. The same number of slide pins are arranged in such a manner as to penetrate through the corresponding through holes in the pin holder for engaging with the stopper. A steering wheel is mounted on the boss through a boss plate. The steering wheel is improved in operation.

Steering wheel device

A steering wheel apparatus is disclosed. It has a steering shaft and a boss fitted onto the steering shaft. A base is mounted on the rear portion of the boss in such a manner as to be fixed with respect to the axial direction but free with respect to the rotary direction of the steering shaft. A locking disc is rotatably mounted on the outer periphery of the base. A pin holder having a plurality of through holes is mounted on the front portion of the boss. The same number of slide pins are arranged in such a manner as to penetrate through the corresponding through holes in the pin holder for engaging with the stopper. A steering wheel is mounted on the boss through a boss plate. The steering wheel is prevented from being locked.

In a slip ring suitable for appliance to a steering system of a vehicle a plurality of contacts arranged axially have spacers among them and flexible contacts are in elastic contact with the respective plurality of contacts. Accordingly, the flexible contacts are relatively rotated to the plurality of contacts at a time of the rotation of a steering wheel of the vehicle while the plurality of contacts and the flexible contacts are kept in a conductive condition therebetween, so that many switches can be mounted on the steering wheel.

Slidable contact assembly

A webbing retractor is provided with a first variable resistor detecting a moving amount of an inner end of a spiral spring biasing a webbing takeup shaft in a direction of webbing winding, a second variable resistor detecting a moving amount of an outer end of the spiral spring and a drive control unit controlling a motor to move the outer end of the spiral spring in the direction of webbing winding or in a direction of webbing unwinding in response to signals outputted from the first and the second variable resistors. Accordingly, a tension of a webbing can be made comfortable for an occupant of a vehicle.

Webbing retractor

In a webbing retractor, a webbing takeup shaft is coupled on to a worm wheel through resilient means and a worm engaged with the worm wheel is connected to a drive means, whereby a biasing force of the resilient means is adjusted to decrease a webbing tension acting upon an occupant by a rotation of the drive means.

An electrical switch structure comprising a lever rotatably mounted between neutral position and actuated position, a switching element ON-OFF operated by said lever, a latching means to latch said lever in the actuated position and an unlatching means to rotate back said lever to the neutral position. In one type of the switch said latching means is accomplished by the energization of a solenoid, in other type of the switch said unlatch means being accomplished by said energization of the solenoid.

Electrical switch structure

A switching assembly to be incorporated in a window-regulator for a motor vehicle and the like, which includes paired units of switching members, each of which is arranged to serve for operating an electric motor in either of two rotational directions in a manual mode or in an automatic mode subject to the displacing amount of a single switching knob, and an electric circuit means including a solenoid for selectively self-retaining and self-releasing the automatic operating mode. The switching assembly is arranged to be capable of selectively energizing and de-energizing the electric motor incorporated in the window-regulator together with operating the solenoid simultaneously.

Switching assembly

A switch structure in which manual reset of the automatic knob is performed against the urging force of spring of sliding rod and is not affected by the energizing power supply to be solenoid with much improvement of operational feeling, in which one-way driving type solenoid and automatic knob holding performed by way of detent plate having moderating portion urged by the spring can make the switch means in light weight and small size and in which the usage of movable moderating plate for resetting manual knob makes easy actual installation in the limited space.

Double-function solenoid operated switch

A webbing hanging hook is projected into a cabin from a vehicle door, said hook is biased in the direction of a webbing hanging position, and, after an occupant is seated, a driving force of a motor is transmitted to said hook to rotate same in the direction of a webbing dropping position, whereby webbings can be automatically fastened to the occupant. After the webbings are dropped, a clutch prevents the driving force of the motor from being transmitted, whereby said hook is returned to the webbing hanging position by a biasing force of a resilient member.

Webbing hanging device

An electromagnetic relay which is so arranged that a plate spring having a movable contact and a fixed contact plate having a fixed contact are secured to a stopper member fixed to a heel piece for the electromagnet, with a lift pin of the plate spring being adapted to contact the moving iron, so that the pressure at the contacts and the gap between the contacts as well as the lowest working voltage are readily adjusted as desired by merely transforming the stopper member. Furthermore, since the movable contact is free from positional deviation, mutual erosion or cutting between the contacts due to uneveness of the contact surfaces arising from sparks and the like has been eliminated for positive closing or opening of the contacts.

Electromagnetic relay

An electromagnetic relay switch assembly comprises, in combination, an electromagnetic coil, a movable plate of magnetizable material supported for pivotal movement between attracted and released positions, a drive wheel including a pawl member and being rotatable reciprocately in response to the movement of the movable plate, a carrier wheel having a detent gear and a ratchet gear. Each time the movable plate is moved from the released position to the attracted position, the carrier wheel is stepwisely rotated in one direction by the pawl member engaged to any one of the ratchet gear teeth. A detent pawl for avoiding the reverse rotation of the carrier wheel and a positioning member for accurately positioning the carrier wheel are also provided.
