An electrical apparatus includes first and second welded members that are welded together. The first welded member has a first metal part and a first resin part covering part of the first metal part. The second welded member has a second metal part and a second resin part covering part of the second metal part. The first metal part has a first standing terminal portion exposed from the first resin part and standing in a standing direction. The second metal part has a second standing terminal portion exposed from the second resin part and standing in the standing direction. The first and second standing terminal portions are welded to each other so that a weld is formed therebetween. The first and second resin parts partially overlap each other in the standing direction. The weld is within a projection region of the first and second resin parts in the standing direction.

Electrical apparatus and method of manufacturing same

A vehicle power supply system mounted on a vehicle is provided. The vehicle power supply system includes a main battery, a power converting apparatus configured to convert DC power of the main battery into AC power, a switch configured to switch a state between energization and cutoff between the main battery and the power converting apparatus, a first DC-DC converter connected to a power supply wiring between the switch and the power converting apparatus, and a second DC-DC converter connected to a power supply wiring between the switch and the main battery. The first DC-DC converter and the second DC-DC converter are mounted at positions distant from each other in the vehicle.

Vehicle power supply system

A power converter for converting an input voltage into a predetermined voltage. The power converter includes a housing including a conductive portion. At least two capacitors are electrically connected to the conductive portion. A transformer, which is configured to serve as a choke coil, includes a winding and a core surrounding the winding with a portion of the winding being exposed from the core. The winding includes a lead that is led out from the exposed portion of the winding to the exterior of the transformer. The at least two capacitors, the lead, and the conductive portion of the housing form a loop circuit together. At least part of the exposed portion of the winding overlaps an internal region of the loop circuit, in a front view of the transformer as seen from a direction in which the lead is led out from the exposed portion of the winding.

A converter is provided as a power conversion device. The converter includes a switching circuit that performs switching on the basis of switching signals; and a control circuit that changes switching frequency of switching signals in a predetermined pattern with the elapse of time, and repeats the changes in switching frequency in the predetermined pattern at every repetition time. The converter sets the repetition time such that a repetition frequency that is the inverse of the repetition time does not coincide with a frequency band that can be demodulated as sound by a radio that receives radio broadcasts.

Device for power conversion using switching element

A terminal for conduction includes an insulating member that is fixed to a housing and that includes a flange portion that extends along the housing; a first terminal member that is provided to penetrate through the insulating member and that includes a tubular portion, the first terminal member being conductive; and a second terminal member that includes an engagement portion and that is inserted into the tubular portion of the first terminal member, the second terminal member being fixed to the first terminal member through the engagement portion in the tubular portion and extending in an axial direction of the tubular portion. The engagement portion is positioned in a space between one surface and the other surface of the flange portion in the axial direction.

Terminal for energization

A switching power supply has electronic parts that configure a switching circuit. The electronic parts are accommodated in a casing. A seat member is formed unitarily with the casing on which the electronic parts are mounted. A coolant channel is formed through the seat member so as to be open at least at two positions of an outer wall surface of the casing. Coolant that flows through the coolant channel cools the electronic parts mounted on the seat member.
