A radiation image conversion panel that has a phosphor layer. The phosphor layer contains a binding agent, a phosphor particle, and at least aryl carboxylic acid or alicyclic carboxylic acid, expressed by the following general Formula:R&#x2014;R&#x2014;COOX, orR&#x2014;COOXin which R represents (1) an aryl group; (2) an aryl group, replaced with an alkyl group whose number of carbons is 1 to 5, a hydroxyl group, a carboxylic acid group, or a halogen group; (3) a hydroaryl group; or (4) a hydroaryl group (alicyclic group), replaced with an alkyl group whose number of carbons is 1 to 5, a hydroxyl group, or a halogen group; Ris a hydrocarbon radical whose number of carbons is 1 to 12; and X represents a hydrogen atom, alkaline metal, or &#x2014;N(R)(where Rrepresents an alkyl group whose number of carbons is 2 or less).

Heat-developable recording material

A heat-developable photographic material which contains a particular class of polyhalogenated organic compound having a water-soluble group in one or more layers on the side of the image-forming layer. The heat-developable photographic material can be obtained at a low cost and has much reduced fog and excellent storage stability.

Photothermographic or thermographic image-forming material

A photothermographic material contains an organic silver salt, a photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent, a binder, and a compound of the formula: X--L.sub.1 --D wherein D is an electron donative group of atoms, X is an adsorption promoting group to silver halide, and L.sub.1 is a valence bond or a linking group. It has high sensitivity in the red to infrared region and experiences a minimal change of photographic properties under different developing conditions.

A photothermographic element comprising a photosensitive silver halide, an organic silver salt, a reducing agent, and a compound of formula (I) on a support has a high sensitivity and storage stability.

Thermographic photographic element

A heat developable photographic material comprising a reducible silver salt, a reducing agent, a contrast enhancer, and a binder further contains a thiosulfonic acid ester compound and/or a thiosulfonic acid compound. The material exhibits ultrahigh contrast and low fog and is minimized in the variation of photographic characteristics with heat development conditions.

Heat-developable photographic materials

A method for forming a color image comprises the step of developing an image-wise exposed silver halide color photographic photosensitive material at the presence of a 6-aminotetrahydroquinoline color developing agent which is the following compound or its analoge. According to this method, the rapid process can be attained and an image of a low fog density can be obtained. ##STR1##
