To provide a human state estimating device which accurately estimates a human state. The human state estimating device includes: a storage unit () which stores reference data () in which a human state and a reference profile including a horizontal component of a standard microsaccade in the human state are corresponded to each other, for each of plural personal attribute information; a video obtaining unit () which obtains video of a user's eyeball, with an eyeball rotation angle accuracy of 0.05 degrees or higher, and a measuring speed of 120 samples per second or higher; an analyzing unit () which generates an actual-measurement profile including the horizontal component of the microsaccade, from fixational eye movement shown in the video; a personal attribute information obtaining unit () which obtains the user's personal attribute information; and an analyzing unit which estimates the human state by searching, in the reference data (), for a reference profile that corresponds to the obtained personal attribute information and is closest to the actual-measurement profile.

Human state estimating device and method

An animation control unit specifies shape data, hierarchical structure data, a group table, and state information. A character state calculating unit obtains the specified shape data from a shape data storing unit, the hierarchical structure data from a hierarchical structure storing unit, and the group table from a table storing unit. The character state calculating unit also obtains motion data shown in the specified state information from a motion data storing unit and specifies, from the obtained motion data, motion data identified by each group number. In accordance with the obtained hierarchical structure data, the character state calculating unit corrects the shape data by using the specified motion data. A three-dimensional rendering unit renders the corrected shape data to generate an image, and a display unit displays the generated image.

A polygon rendering device carries out a polygon division process for generating, based on polygon data which specifies a polygon to be rendered, a plurality of partial polygon data each specifying one piece of partial polygons which are obtained by dividing the polygon. Here, each of the partial polygons includes a plurality of triangles which respectively include a vertex of the polygon, and each of the triangles included in each of the partial polygons shares at least one edge with at least one other triangle included in the same partial polygon. In such a manner, the polygon rendering device can render polygons at high speeds.
