The water dispersible granule of the present invention is obtained by mixing a pesticide having a melting point of not more than 70.degree. C., a calcined product of precipitated hydrated silicon dioxide and a surface active agent, and granulating the resulting mixture by the wet granulation method or compaction method. This water dispersible granule is an excellent formulation of which the physical properties such as disintegrability-in-water, dispersibility, suspensibility, storage stability, etc. are good, and which is free from dust-scattering and is capable of being measured by volume.

Microencapsulated pyrethroidal cockroach-controlling composition is provided, which has an excellent residual effect. The composition comprises phenylxylylethane and a pyrethroidal compound and is encapsulated in microcapsules formed of a polyurethane wall which have an average particle diameter of not more than 80 .mu.m, a wall thickness of not more than 0.3 .mu.m, and a value of the average particle diameter/wall thickness of 100-400.

A composition excellent in dispersibility and diffusion in water, and storage stability comprising a) a pesticidal active ingredient, b) a surface active agent, c) a carbonate, d) a solid acid and e) at least one selected from the group consisting of boron oxide and metaboric acid, wherein at least one of the carbonate and the solid acid is water-soluble, the total content of the carbonate and the solid acid is in a proportion of 5-90% to the total weight, the weight ratio of the carbonate to the solid acid is in the range of 1:10-10:1, and the weight of at least one selected from the group consisting of boron oxide and metaboric acid is in a proportion of 0.5-40% to the total weight.

The water dispersible granule of the present invention contains (a) a pesticidal active ingredient which is solid at room temperature, (b) an anionic surface active agent, and (c) a kaolin series clay having a volume median diameter of 2 .mu.m or more, and it exhibits a good disintegrability-in-water and a high dispersion stability.

Pesticidal composition containing a microencapsulated organo-phosphorus

The present invention discloses emulsifiable pesticidal solid compositions obtained by spray-drying aqueous emulsions comprising (a) pesticides having a melting point of not higher than 70.degree. C., (b) surfactants, (c) dextrin and/or lactose, and (d) water and, if necessary and desired, (e) organic solvents and/or water soluble carriers. The emulsifiable pesitcidal solid compositions are easy in handling and can be readily emulsified.

Termites are prevented by applying thereto microencapsulated organophosphorus termite controlling composition in an amount of 5-100 g as an effective ingredient.
