A blood collecting device collects blood in a short time after puncture without scattering the blood into the open air other than a container for collecting the blood. One of representative blood collecting devices has a container unit that includes a screw portion, a holder that holds the container unit serving as a system whose one end is closed, a puncture unit that can be attached to the container or the holder, a through-hole of the puncture unit, and a puncture unit protection member that protects the puncture unit and the container unit.

Blood collecting device

An airborne substance sensing device is capable of blocking fluorescence that is not from an airborne substance and detecting faint fluorescence of an airborne substance with a high degree of accuracy through the use of a cartridge having an introduction plate in which micropores are formed through which a gas including an airborne substance can pass. A transparent collection plate opposes the introduction plate, and the airborne substance can be made to collide on the plate and be collected through the collision of the gas having passed through the micropores. In a main body, the introduction and collection plates are disposed in parallel, and a flow path for guiding the gas including the airborne substance to the micropores is formed. An opaque mask covers the collection plate and is provided with an opening window through which light can pass at a position corresponding to a collection area.

A microreactor for photoreactions includes a housing upper part, a lid plate made of a material that allows transmission of light, a flow path plate made of a material that suppresses light reflection and has a high thermal conductivity, and a housing lower part. Light is applied through a window of the housing upper part and the lid plate to a flow path of the flow path plate. The lid plate made of the material that allows transmission of light and the flow path plate made of the material that suppresses light reflection and has a high thermal conductivity are welded each other to form an integrated body.

Microreactor for photoreactions

An airborne-substance detection device includes a cartridge and an optical detector. The cartridge includes: an inflow plate having formed therein a micropore that allows inflow of a microparticle-containing gas; a trapping plate disposed opposite the micropore and having the ability to capture the microparticles on a surface facing the micropore; and a main body in which the inflow plate and the trapping plate are installed, and in which a channel is formed that channels the gas to the micropore. The optical detector optically detects the microparticles captured on the trapping plate. The trapping plate is disposed on the outermost side of the cartridge, and is configured from a light transmissive member. The optical detector detects the captured microparticles on the trapping plate from the back side of the trapping plate.

Airborne-substance detection device and cartridge used in same

The present invention provides an impaction-based microorganism collecting device in which microorganisms are captured by the capture surface of a collection plate. The microorganism collecting device is designed to reduce the influence of the lateral wind flowing over the perforated plate having multiple nozzles and also prevent warpage of the perforated plate. Multiple air vents are formed around the circumference of the capture surface and through the capture surface so that air that has flowed through the nozzles of the perforated plate onto the capture surface can be discharged. This allows the air to flow in multiple directions over the capture surface, thereby reducing the speed of the air and increasing the microorganism capture rate.

Device and method for collecting airborne microorganisms

A flow type single-particle spectrometer includes a sample container which holds a sample liquid containing a particle to be inspected; a detection channel which is a flow path for optically detecting the particle to be inspected; a waste liquid container which stores the sample liquid flowing out through the detection channel; a liquid feed member; a white light source which emits white light; an excitation light dispersion element which spatially disperses the white light into wavelength components; an excitation light collecting element which collects light; a fluorescence light collecting element which collects fluorescence light and side scattered light; a fluorescence light dispersion element which spatially disperses the fluorescence light into wavelength components; a dispersed light collecting element which collects the fluorescence light dispersed by the fluorescence light dispersion element; and a multi-channel light detector which detects intensity of light for each wavelength.

Flow type single-particle spectrometer

A nucleic acid analysis reaction cell and a nucleic acid analyzer are provided, in which a uniform flow rate is realized, so that a portion where a flow rate is low is removed and washing time for reagent removal is shortened. A flow path () is provided which includes a detection area () for detecting sequence information of a nucleic acid fragment and detection outer areas () disposed at both ends of the detection area (). An inflow port () is provided in one of the detection outer areas () and a discharge port () is provided in the other of the detection outer areas (). The detection outer areas () disposed at both the ends of the detection area () are areas whose widths become narrow toward ends, and guides () for branching a liquid are provided in at least the detection outer area () in which the inflow port () is provided.

Nucleic acid analysis reaction cell and nucleic acid analyzer

In relation to a microreactor, and also a microreactor system applying the same therein, not producing any dead volume therein, and thereby achieving a high level of mixing properties even at a low solution flow rate and having a simple structure thereof, disclosed herein are a microreactor and microreactor system, comprising a channel for mixing up at least two (2) types of fluids, and thereby conducting mixing/reacting of fluids by conducting the mixing/reacting of the fluids at least one (1) time, i.e., being suitable for so-called a multi-step reaction.

Microreactor system

A fluid mixer for mixing a first fluid and a second fluid includes an introducing component having a bore, a cylindrical component fitted into the bore of the introducing component and a mixing component having a conical recess and on which the introducing component and the cylindrical component are held. A first introducing flow path receives the first fluid and a first distributing flow path distributes the first fluid over the whole circumference of the cylindrical component. A second introducing flow path receives the second fluid. A second distributing flow path distributes the second fluid so that the first fluid and the second fluid are alternately arranged in an circumferential direction. A joining part joins together the first fluid and the second fluid fed with the fluids alternately arranged circumferentially.

Fluid mixer

In a heating device having a microwave generator for generating microwaves, a waveguide for propagating the microwaves, a matching element for adjusting the impedance inside the waveguide and a flow pipe for passing a substance to be heated, an outer pipe of low dielectric constant is arranged to circulate a heat transfer medium for heat exchange around the flow pipe adapted to pass the heated substance and a circulation constant temperature bath is provided for adjusting the temperature of the heat transfer medium for heat exchange and for circulating it, so that microwaves are irradiated while adjusting the temperature of the heat transfer medium for heat exchange to a desired value by means of the circulation constant bath and circulating the heat transfer medium around the flow pipe.

Microwave heating device and heating method

The invention aims to reduce the processing time of liquid-liquid extraction, reduce variations in the amount of extraction of a solute, and improve the extraction efficiency. Provided are a container adapted to contain a continuous phase and a dispersion phase that are mutually immiscible liquids, and a solute dissolved in at least one of the continuous and dispersion phases, a water tank accommodating therein the container and containing water around the container, an emulsification ultrasonic oscillation source disposed outside the water tank, on a plane substantially parallel with the interface between the continuous and dispersion phases, a separation ultrasonic oscillation source disposed outside the water tank, an ultrasonic-oscillation-source driving circuit configured to drive the emulsification ultrasonic oscillation source and the separation ultrasonic oscillation source, and a control unit configured to control the ultrasonic-oscillation-source driving circuit such that it sequentially drives the emulsification ultrasonic oscillation source and the separation ultrasonic oscillation source.
