A communication apparatus performs a communication using a communication frame corresponding to a predetermined frequency bandwidth including a first frequency bandwidth and a second frequency bandwidth. The communication frame includes a first communication channel that corresponds to the first frequency bandwidth and that has a plurality of subcarriers and a second communication channel that corresponds to the second frequency bandwidth and that has a plurality of subcarriers. The communication apparatus sets a first phase vector with respect to the first communication channel, sets a second phase vector with respect to the second communication channel, generates communication data by adjusting a phase of symbol data using the first phase vector and the second phase vector, and transmits the communication data using the communication frame.

Disclosed is a direct current power line communication apparatus, by which communication between electronic apparatuses with a direct current voltage line there between can be stabilized. The direct current power line communication apparatus, i.e., a direct current power line communication apparatus that transmits signals using the direct current voltage line (), is provided with: a PLC communication control unit (), which controls the transmitting unit () connected to the direct current voltage line (); and a voltage detecting unit (), which detects the voltage of the direct current voltage line (), and notifies the PLC communication control unit () of the detected voltage. Disclosed is a charging apparatus whereby charging can be suitably performed even in the cases where a plurality of electric vehicles are connected to a charging station. The charging apparatus has: a charging cable (), which is configured of a power supply line () that charges an electric vehicle () and a pilot line () that detects connection of the electric vehicle (); a power supply unit (), which supplies power to the charging cable (); a voltage detecting unit (), which detects, via a pilot line (), a voltage pattern that corresponds to identifying information of the electric vehicle (); and a power line communication unit (), which performs, with the electric vehicle (), data communication in the state wherein the identifying information of the electric vehicle () is added, said identifying information having been acquired by means of the voltage detecting unit ().

Charging apparatus and vehicle

Provided are a power supply device and a power supply method which can carry out proper charging even when a plurality of electric automobiles are connected to a charging stand. A charging stand () supplies power to electric automobiles () by way of the charging cables (). The charging stand () is provided with: a charging cable identification signal transmitter () for transmitting a charging cable identification signal to the electric automobiles by way of the charging cables (); an electric automobile identification signal receiver () for receiving an electric automobile identification signal and a charging cable identification signal from the electric automobiles () by way of the charging cables (); and a controller () for charging the electric automobiles () when the electric automobile identification signal receiver () receives the electric automobile identification signal and the charging cable identification signal.

The communication apparatus includes a first communication unit configured to receive serial data from a first communication apparatus that is serially connected to the communication apparatus; a modulation unit configured to modulate the serial data received by the first communication unit into data other than the serial data to generate transmission data; and a second communication unit configured to perform first unicast transmission which involves transmitting the transmission data by designating a second communication apparatus as a transmission destination and second unicast transmission which involves transmitting the transmission data by designating a third communication apparatus as a transmission destination.

There is provided a power supply apparatus capable of supplying information as a power line communication signal superimposed on a voltage of a commercial frequency, although currents of the commercial frequency are not supplied to power receiving side external equipment, and capable of supplying power to a specific external apparatus together with the power line communication signal, by controlling supply of the currents of the commercial frequency to the external apparatus. This apparatus includes at least a power receiving section that receives the supply of the power from a power line; a power line communicating section that superimposes the power line communication signal on the voltage, which is supplied to the power receiving section, and transmits the power line communication signal to the equipment; and a power supply limiting section which is installed between the power receiving section and the equipment, allows the power line communication signal to pass and limits the supply of the power to the equipment.
