In a deflector device, when an external force acts on an deflector body while at a deployed position such that the deflector body is rotated in a stowing direction, even if further rotation of the deflector body in the stowing direction is restricted, the deflector body is rotated to the deployed position by an urging force of a torsion coil spring when the external force acting on the deflector body is released. This enables the deflector body to be rotated to the deployed position from anywhere over an entire rotatable range in the stowing direction by the urging force of the torsion coil spring. Thus, the torsion coil spring is able to rotate the deflector body to the deployed position in a suitable manner.

Deflector device

In a lift-up buckle device, a worm wheel is engaged with a screw drive. When a worm is rotated in a forward direction and causes the screw drive to move downward, the worm moves the worm wheel downward. On the other hand, when the worm is rotated in a reverse direction and causes the screw drive to move upward, the worm moves the worm wheel upward. Consequently, the worm wheel may be stably engaged with the screw drive, and the worm wheel and worm may be stably mated.

Webbing support device

In a door mirror device for a vehicle, when a driving body is moved rotationally towards an upper side, a gear plate is moved towards a lower side so that urging force applied from a coil spring to the driving body is decreased. In contrast, when the driving body is moved rotationally towards the lower side, the gear plate is moved towards the upper side so that the urging force applied from the coil spring to the driving body is increased. As a result, it is possible to reduce a difference between a load that is applied in order to move the driving body rotationally towards the upper side and the load that is applied in order to move the driving body rotationally towards the lower side.

Visual recognition device for vehicle

In a door mirror device for a vehicle, an engaging ring that rotates together with a case is provided on an interior floor portion of the case. A restricting ring is provided at the upper side of the engaging ring and is urged toward the lower side by a coil spring. The restricting ring is movable to a side in an axial direction of a support shaft of a stand, but relative rotation of the restricting ring with respect to the support shaft is restricted. Therefore, in a state in which upper side protrusion portions of the engaging ring go out from restricting recess portions of the restricting ring, the restricting ring is moved toward the upper side. Consequently, movement of the case toward the upper side can be suppressed.

Viewing device for a vehicle

In a door mirror device for a vehicle, a stopper groove of a case and a stopper of a stand are provided so as to be superposed with a restricting ring in an axial direction of a support shaft of the stand. Therefore, in comparison with a structure in which the stopper groove of the case and the stopper of the stand are provided at the outer side in an axis-orthogonal direction (radial direction) of the support shaft of the stand relative to the restricting ring and an engaging ring, an increase in size of the case and stand to a side in the axis-orthogonal direction of the support shaft may be suppressed.

In a vehicular door mirror device, a main body section of a motor is supported by an assembly tube of a case in a horizontal direction, and a gear plate is supported by a support tube of the case in the horizontal direction. Therefore, dimensional variation in the horizontal direction between central axis lines of an output shaft of the motor and the gear plate can be suppressed, and variation in meshing amount of a worm gear of the output shaft and the gear plate, and a worm shaft, can be suppressed.

Vehicular visual recognition device

In a stowing mechanism of a vehicular door mirror device, sound is produced when a gear plate is rotated from a state in which a clutch plate has been disengaged from the gear plate and the clutch plate engages with the gear plate under biasing force from a coil spring. Butyl tape spans between a portion of the coil spring on an upper side of a gap and a portion of the coil spring on a lower side of the gap such that vibration of the coil spring is suppressed. Accordingly, the sound is able to be damped.

At a vehicle door mirror device, an inner wall of a mirror holder is nipped between a supporting surface of an inner case and a contacting surface of a support pivot, and a peripheral wall of the mirror holder is made to press-contact a peripheral wall of a case. Here, at a time when the mirror holder is rotated, the support pivot is displaced toward a vehicle rear side, and nipping of the inner wall between the supporting surface and the contacting surface is cancelled, and press-contacting of the mirror holder peripheral wall against the case peripheral wall is cancelled. Therefore, frictional force between the supporting surface and the contacting surface and the inner wall, and frictional force between the case peripheral wall and the mirror holder peripheral wall, can be reduced effectively.

Vehicle mirror device

In a vehicle door mirror device, a through hole of a case is penetrated by a support shaft so as to rotatably support the case on the support shaft. Lower ribs are formed in a protruding state at a peripheral face of the through hole, and protrusion leading end faces of the lower ribs are capable of contacting the support shaft. A gap dimension between the peripheral face of the through hole and the support shaft can accordingly be made small, thereby enabling rattling of the case with respect to the support shaft to be suppressed. Moreover, the contact surface area between the peripheral face of the through hole and the support shaft can be made small, thereby enabling an increase in sliding resistance between the peripheral face of the through hole and the support shaft to be suppressed.

Vehicle visual recognition device

In a vehicle door mirror device, in a contact tube of a motor base, projection leading end faces of second contact ribs are disposed at radial direction inside of a circular circumferential face in which projection leading end faces of first contact ribs are disposed. The projection leading end faces of the second contact ribs have a smaller gap dimension to a support tube of a support shaft than gap dimension of the projection leading end faces of the first contact ribs to the support tube in a state in which a drive body is not tilted with respect to the support shaft. This thereby enables tilting of the drive body with respect to the support shaft to be effectively suppressed.

In a vehicle door mirror device, by a first fixed-face of a fixed projection of a stay and a first rotating-face of a rotating projection of a drive body contacting, further rotation of a mirror is inhibited when the mirror is disposed in a housed position. A slope-angle of the first fixed-face to the housing direction is smaller than a slope-angle of the first rotating-face to a forward folded direction. Contact between the upper end of the first fixed-face and the first rotating-face can accordingly be restricted, and a distance from the lower end of the first fixed-face to the contact position with the first rotating-face can be made short. So, moment acting on the first fixed-face from the first rotating-face can be made small, enabling damage to the lower end position of the first fixed-face to be suppressed. A reduction in weight and cost can accordingly be achieved.

Mirror device for vehicle

In a vehicle door mirror device, when a fitting recess portion and a fitting protrusion portion fit, a gap is formed between an orthogonal face and an opposing face due to a fitting recess portion and a fitting protrusion portion contacting along case rotating direction. Accordingly, even when the fitting protrusion portion wears and external shape becomes smaller, the fitting recess portion and the fitting protrusion portion are contacted and fitted until the gap disappears. The gap is set larger than a gap between a visor and a stay. Therefore, the fitting recess portion and the fitting protrusion portion contact along the case rotating direction even when the visor contacts the stay, due to presence of the gap. Accordingly, even when the visor contacting the stay is taken as useful life indicator of the device, rattling of the visor against the stay can be suppressed at this stage.

The operation torque during disengaging of clutch projections out of clutch grooves, is effectively suppressed from excessively increasing immediately after start of device assembling. In a door mirror device, a gear plate has clutch grooves made substantially in trapezoidal form, in circumferential cross-section, increasing in width from a groove bottom to an opening end. A clutch disk has clutch projections made substantially in trapezoidal form, in circumferential cross-section, decreasing in width in taper form from a base toward a tip wherein the top surfaces are made in an inverted radial form decreasing in width from inner periphery to outer periphery. Due to this, when a torque exceeding a set value is transmitted to the gear plate, the pressure-contact area of the clutch projection with the clutch groove gradually moves from inner periphery to outer periphery while moving the clutch disk upward against a bias force of a clutch spring.

Vehicular mirror device

A retracting mechanism, which rotates a mirror for viewing a region substantially to a rear of the vehicle, has a motor, a cover which accommodates another end side of the motor, and a case main body which accommodates one end side of the motor and is rotatably supported at a vehicle body. In the retracting mechanism, the case main body and the cover are positioned due to a first fit-together portion, which is provided at a hanging-down wall of the cover, and a second fit-together portion, which is provided at a standing wall of the case main body, fitting-together with one another. The first fit-together portion and the second fit-together portion are both formed in shapes which are concentric with a rotating shaft. Accordingly, accuracy of positioning the case main body and the cover can be ensured to be good with the rotating shaft as a reference.

Mirror device for a vehicle

A retracting mechanism for storing or erecting a mirror includes, at a coupled portion of an output shaft of a drive motor and a worm gear, coupling retaining portions fitted together in a press-fitted state and rotational force transmitting portions opposing each other in a state where a predetermined gap is present between them. The coupling retaining portions are configured by a circular shaft portion and a circular fitting hole, and the rotational force transmitting portions are configured by a double D-cut portion and double D-protruding portions. The rotational force of the output shaft is transmitted by the rotational force transmitting portions, and the coupled state of the output shaft and the worm gear is retained on the same axial line and the slanting of the worm gear is prevented by the coupling retaining portions.
