An elevator monitoring terminal includes a storage unit and a processing unit. The storage unit stores screen-displayed data including monitor-related screens related to an elevator monitoring operation, and the processing unit displays the monitor-related screens in the screen-displayed data read from the storage unit on a display unit.

An elevator system includes a hoistway including a hoistway wall and a bottom portion, the hoistway wall including a protrusion projecting from the hoistway wall inside the hoistway, a vertical moving member ascending and descending the hoistway without interfering with the protrusion, and a control panel for controlling the movement of the vertical moving member, the control panel being disposed within the hoistway and in an overlapping relationship with a projected region of the protrusion, projected in the direction of movement of the vertical moving member. The space within the hoistway is efficiently utilized and easy maintenance of the elevator system is provided.

The displacement of a shackle, which is coupled with a main rope hanging an elevator car, caused by loading of the car, is converted, through a wire, into the rotary motion of a pulley which has a substantially vertical rotating surface, and an acceleration sensor for detecting the angle of rotation of the pulley is fixedly secured to the pulley, so that the load of the car is detected from the angle of rotation of the pulley.

An elevator system has a pair of horizontally opposed vertical surfaces defining therebetween a doorway or opening to an elevator cage and a door moving horizontally to open and close the opening. In particular, the system has a first optical device having a light emitter for emitting light and a second optical device having a light receiver for receiving the light emitted from the light emitter. The first and second optical devices are positioned in a vertical plane crossing the opening and adjacent to the opening. One of the first and second optical devices is positioned below the other of the first and second optical devices and mounted in the vertical surface.

Elevator system with safety installation

In an elevator apparatus, a radiation fin device on which heat generating parts are mounted and a cooling fan for cooling the radiation fin device by forced air are accommodated in a tall and narrow case. The cooling fan has a rotation shaft extending in a direction perpendicular to a fin attaching surface of the case. A ventilating passage is provided between the radiation fin device and the cooling fan by a ventilating duct.

Elevator control device

In a maintenance driving control apparatus of an elevator, switches and other components operated at the time of maintenance are separated from a control panel and combined in a driving operation panel. A maintenance operation panel having this driving operation panel and at least one of a brake release device for remote operation, a meter for indicating a voltage of a speed generator, and car position confirmation unit utilizing movement of a rope or some other member is provided in the vicinity of an elevator hall. The maintenance driving control apparatus enables maintenance operations without directly operating the control panel or a hoisting machine.

A data interface for communicating data between processors having: a writing-side register group in which data in a writing-side processor which transmits data is written in response to a clock signal; a reading-side register group into which the data written into the writing-side register group is transferred and written in response to a later clock operation, the data being read out by a reading-side processor of a data receiving side; a write controller for selectively writing data in a register in the writing-side register group in accordance with an address signal and a write signal of the writing-side processor; and a read controller for selectively reading data from a register in the reading-side register group in accordance with an address signal of the reading-side processor; so that a double buffer structure consisting of the writing-side buffers and the reading-side buffers causes the address signal and the data signal to individually be connected in the writing side and the reading side. Thus, the respective processors are able to transfer data without mutual interference.

Data interface and high-speed communication system using the same

A control panel is divided into units in accordance with each control function, units to be controlled by or connected to the divided unit are divided into unit groups in accordance with a place where the unit is to be disposed, and unit groups having a relationship form a control section, the control section being disposed in the vicinity of the unit group so that it is unnecessary to provide a large integral control panel. There is no difficulty in finding an installation place for the control panel, it is unnecessary to prepare a special machine room, it is possible to provide the control panel in an empty space around the respective unit to be controlled, and to effectively use the building while enhancing the layout of the units and it is possible to quickly control a localized situation for the unit to be controlled.

Controlling apparatus for elevator with divided control panel

In an elevator apparatus, a control panel is disposed below a lowermost movement position of a proximity switch projecting from a car. The control panel is mounted on a hoistway wall through a mounting bracket at a position which is overlapped by a cross-section of the proximity switch projected in the ascending and descending directions of the car. Namely, the control panel is mounted by utilizing the space below the movement range of the proximity switch. Also, a gap is present between the surface of the hoistway wall and the control panel by the mounting bracket.

A controller for an elevator. The elevator includes a landing passageway where a car stops and passengers board or alight and a hoistway through which the car is raised or lowered. A control panel for controlling the raising, lowering, and stopping of the car is disposed in the hoistway at a position where the control panel does not interfere with the raising or lowering of the car, and a mechanism for drawing out the control panel to the landing passageway is provided. Accordingly, space in the hoistway is effectively used, and the landing passageway which passengers do not use during maintenance can be readily utilized for a maintenance operation.

Moveable control panel for elevators

In an elevator controlling apparatus, a first suspension member and a second suspension member are fixed to a guide rail at a vertical interval. A control panel can be suspended from either a first or second suspension member. Thus, the control panel can be moved between a operation position at a first height from a bottom portion of a hoistway and a maintenance position lower than a operation position. A junction box is fixed on a hoistway wall. The junction box and the control panel are connected to each other through flexible cables.
