A secondary battery charging system includes a secondary battery charging device and a power generation device that generates a charging current. The secondary battery charging device controls the charging a secondary battery, which has a protection timer that counts a first elapsed time from a start of charging. The secondary battery charging device includes a charging switch that controls a supply of the charging current, a time management timer portion that counts a second elapsed time starting from a point at which the charging switch becomes conductive and performs a charging stop determination and that counts a third elapsed time starting from a point at which the charging switch is cut off and performs a charging start determination, and a charging control portion that causes the charging switch to be conductive or cut off based on results of the charging stop determination and the charging start determination.

Secondary battery charging device and secondary battery charging system

An indicator has a permanent magnet and a coil rotatably supported on the permanent magnet and wound so as to form a surface that is parallel to and disposed at a preselected distance from a bottom surface of the permanent magnet. The coil generates a torque by interaction with a magnetic field of the permanent magnet upon supply of a current to the coil. An indicator needle is mounted to undergo rotation with the coil through a range of angles corresponding to indicator angles of the indicator needle. A pair of spiral springs urge the indicator needle in a direction opposite to a direction of the torque to undergo rotation through the range of indicator angles. The pair of spiral springs comprise a first spiral spring connected at one end thereof to one end of the coil and a second spiral spring connected at one end thereof to another end of the coil. The first spiral spring is larger than the second spiral spring and is arranged on an outer peripheral side of and coaxially with the second spiral spring so that the first and second spiral springs lie on a common plane.

A music practice supporting appliance has an input unit that inputs a musical sound of a musical instrument and/or vocal music, converts the musical sound into an electric signal, and outputs the electric signal as an input signal. An amplifying unit amplifies the input signal outputted from the input unit. A processing unit processes the amplified input signal to obtain input signal data. A first memory unit stores the input signal data. A second memory unit stores input signal data stored in the first memory unit when the input signal data stored in the first memory unit exceeds a preselected storage capacity of the first memory unit. A control unit controls the first memory unit and the second memory unit so that while the first memory unit is receiving for storage thereinto new input signal data which causes the first memory unit to exceed the preselected storage capacity, portions of input signal data previously stored in the first memory unit are deleted from the first memory unit and are stored in the second memory unit, and the new input signal data is stored in the first memory unit. A display unit displays the input signal data stored in the first and second memory units.

The switch structure according to the present invention is obtained by interposing an elastic connection member between the circuit board provided with electrodes and a push switch fixed to a case of an electronic device. The elastic connection member has a structure in which conductive layers and insulation layers are alternately laminated. The conductive layers of a first lamination layer surface on which the conductive layers and the insulation layers of the elastic connection member are exposed abut against the electrodes so that the electric connections therebetween are established. The push switch is pushed down, and a contact portion thereof abuts against the plurality of conductive layers on a second lamination layer surface, whereby the electrodes are in a conductive state. Even if the push switch is pushed strongly, the elastic connection member deforms to absorb the force. As a result, the switch structure which hardly breaks is obtained.

Switch structure and electronic device

A synchronized beat notification system has a master device having a beat input unit and a master radio communication unit for transmitting as radio information a beat inputted to the beat input unit together with identification information corresponding to information identifying the master device. A slave device has a slave radio communication unit for receiving the radio information transmitted from the master radio communication unit and a beat notification unit for performing notification of the beat inputted to the beat input unit in accordance with the information received by the slave radio communication unit. The slave radio communication unit extracts from the received radio information the identification information corresponding to the master device and controls the beat notification unit to perform beat notification only when the extracted identification information coincides with identification information on a master device intended to become a communication partner with the slave device.

An electric discharge detection circuit includes an x-ray tube, a power supply that applies a high voltage to the x-ray tube, a tube voltage that detects the voltage applied to the x-ray tube, a differentiation circuit that differentiates a signal output from the tube voltage detector, a zero-crossing comparator that discriminates the polarity of an output signal from the differentiation circuit; a re-triggerable one-shot pulse generating circuit that generates one-shot pulses at a regular period, using the pulse output from zero-crossing comparator as the trigger, a counter that is input with the one-shot pulse output and counts the pulses to output from the zero-crossing comparator while operation is enabled period, an x-ray cut-off circuit that terminates the generation of high voltage when it receives the carry output and a display that displays the occurrence of an electric discharge phenomenon upon receipt of the carry output.

Portable X-ray fluorescence analyzer

Handling of a portable an X-ray fluorescence analyzer is simplified by providing in a housing of the X-ray fluorescence analyzer an X-ray source for irradiating primary X-rays onto a sample to be measured located outside the housing, and a light source in the housing for irradiating a visible light beam in the irradiating direction of the primary X-rays, the visible light beam having a different optical axis from the X-rays.

X-ray fluorescence analyzer

A portable X-ray fluorescence analyzer has a measurement head section and an operating section. An X-ray source is disposed in the measurement head section for irradiating X-rays onto a sample for analysis of the sample utilizing principles of X-ray fluorescence. A power source is disposed in the operating section for supplying a voltage to the X-ray source to irradiate X-rays. A control circuit controls the power source to supply a voltage to the X-ray source through a first X-ray switch disposed in the measurement head section and a second X-ray switch disposed in the operating section by ON/OFF control of the first and second X-ray switches. A safety switch is disposed in the measurement head section for interlocking the first and second X-ray switches so that the control circuit controls the power source to supply a voltage to the X-ray source to irradiate X-rays only when the safety switch and the first and second X-ray switches are switched to an ON state.

An X-ray fluorescence analyzer utilizing principles of an X-ray fluorescence method comprising X-ray generation means for generation of X-rays, a shutter for shielding against X-ray beam irradiation, generated by the X-ray generation means, to a sample to be measured, X-ray detection means for detecting secondary X-rays, generated as the result of X-ray beam irradiation, to a sample to be measured, measurement control instruction means for instructing to start and to stop measurement, operation delay means for outputting a signal to shutter actuating means after a fixed period of time has elapsed after the measurement start instruction signal from the measurement control instruction means is input, and display means for displaying that the X-ray fluorescence analyzer is performing measurement during the period when from the measurement start instruction signal is input from the measurement control instruction means until the measurement stop instruction signal is input.

A fluorescent X-ray analyzer has an X-ray generating device for generating X-rays, a shutter for shielding an X-ray flux generated from the X-ray generating device from radiating to a sample to be measured, and a shutter drive mechanism for opening and closing the shutter. An X-ray detecting device detects secondary X-rays generated when the X-ray flux is radiated to the sample to be measured. A measurement start order device orders the start of a measurement. An image input device optically reads and obtains image data corresponding to an external appearance and a background of the sample to be measured. A first storage circuit stores image data obtained by the image input device. A second storage circuit stores data related to a figure previously registered. A data comparing device compares the image data stored in the first storage circuit with the data stored in the second storage circuit. A state detecting device detects an installation state of the fluorescent X-ray analyzer.

Flourescent X-ray analyzer

An automatic infinitesimal liquid reactor equipped with a pipetter for dispensing reagents employs two stages which are capable of sliding horizontally. A microplate which has a plurality of recesses in rows is placed in one stage and reagent bottles are placed on the other stage. The pipetter is supported on a horizontal guide rail operating slidably horizontally and along an axis perpendicular to the direction in which the two stages slide. The horizontal guide rail is supported on a vertical guide rail so as to operate slidably in a vertical direction. Thus the pipetter can be moved in a plane perpendicular to the direction in which the two stages slide. When reagents are sucked from reagent bottles, the second stage is slid so that a reagent bottle is superposed below the pipetter and the pipetter is moved downwardly into the reagent bottle to draw in a reagent. When the reagent is discharged, the first stage is slid so that the microplate is superposed below the pipetter and the pipetter is moved downwardly into a recess to discharge the reagent, thereby dispensing a reagent efficiently and minimizing the space required for the reactor.
